Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tours reviews
57Extremely expensive to take kids and no one was around when we arrived. Pretty disappointed.
Absolutely worth the $20 for the tour. Guide Shane delivers an excellent tour rich with history and the engineering behind the lighthouse. And the view from the top of the lighthouse is obviously far superior compared to view from the base.
Go on the tour and this lighthouse will be one of your highlights on Bruny Island.
We have to go through a fifteen-minute drive on a gravel road, and after going back and forth, the whole car is covered with a layer of sand. Maybe there were not enough parking spaces during busy hours, and the administrator checked the park pass. There is a steep walk up to the lighthouse, and the scenery is beautiful. There is a fee to enter the lighthouse, and there are tours approximately every thirty minutes.
Did not get to do the tour as booked out. The location is magnificent and views spectacular.
Great experience however when we came there, the tour is booked out and the door to the light house is closed. So no way I would have known before hand that I should purchase tickets before coming.
Well worth the trip down, it was extremely windy when we visited but that just added to the surrounding beauty. 10/10
Rugged, wild, beautiful coast! Definitely worth a visit to take in the natural beauty and crisp fresh air.
It is a goat track getting in there & rough as to the entrance of the light house. The tour was well worth doing.
We did not take the tour because we had underage children. The view from the top was still pretty spectacular!
We went on the 10am lighthouse tour with Matt. He did a good job introducing to us the history of the lighthouse. Highly recommended as it feels different (and awesome) when you stand so high up with 360 degree views.
The place is absolutely breathtaking! Views of nature are priceless. Kind owners, let us take the walk after hours.
Drive was easy contrary to some reviews. Unsealed but an easy drive for any safe driver on any car. Just drive slow and safe on left side! As always!
It is a beautiful place and worth visiting. Only thing to be mindful is there's a bit of rough drive as the road is in poor condition.
Totally worth the climb up the boardwalk to see breathtaking panoramic views of Bruny Island. The view here is world class and Bruny Island is so underrated. We didn't take the Lighthouse tour - we just climbed to the Lighthouse and thought that was enough.
Didn’t do the tour but the walk and visit to the lighthouse is lovely. Going up the stairs would be cool.
Amazing views from the lighthouse. The entry closes at 4 pm to go up the lighthouse so make sure to plan ahead. Beautiful views of the ocean from above.
We visited the light house and did the tour. Karen was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic! Loved every bit of it.
What an amazing day to visit the lighthouse. Love the ocean view it provides, you really are mesmerized by the beauty of nature. Easy walk to the lighthouse, ensure you have your camera battery charged, you will thank me later
We went to inside the light house as including our tour.
It's beautiful from the top of light house
Lovely end of the world with views. Dirt road got the car full of dust. Lovely end to our island road trip.
