I worked in the packhouse, weighing and packing berries for about 5 months. They were very long hours, around 10 - 12h days. The people who check the quality and weigh the punnets don't get to move around much at all. Manager of the company not accepting medical certificates for valid reasons.

Wonderful family business, who care about their staff. I have worked at Burlington for 8 plus years in the Packhouse and met hundreds of people including locals and backpackers from all over the world. Many return each season because of the company's core values and duty of care towards all team members. A happy working environment to experience while packing first class berries that travel all over Australia. I personally recommend your next working experience to be Burlington Berries!

Employment Office and Scout Talent Group have worked with Burlington Berries for over three years. The organisation is dynamic and innovative. They truly care about their customers and their people. We highly recommend them as an employer of choice.

I can’t praise this company enough, I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a berry picker their. Weather your looking to meet your 88 days farm work for a second year visa, too save money or to have a true Australian experience, Burlington Berries is fantastic.regardless of your nationality and level of English, the staff make you feel welcome and are happy to Help, they make you feel like family comforting when your a long way from home.

Hopefully I’ll see you their next season!

Slavery wages!
It was the worst experience in my life. I have picked strawberries for 2 hours and that was enough for me.
It 's impossible to make any money (they paid me 1.9$ per tray which has 8 punnets of 300g).
For all backpackers stay away from this farm!
All the positive reviews can not be from the people who did picking there or they do not mind working for free.
When you call with a lady from HR she will not tell you how much they pay just some stupid excuses and even
when you come there for an induction she has got some more stupid excuses for you and let you waiting for this amazing opportunity with no info: D.
Do not think about this job for a second!

Typical company that does not actually care about their workers. They've got people flying over from the mainland to come and pick fruit, only to get sacked 3 weeks later, because they are not needed anymore. This often results in backpackers being left with nothing, as they spent a lot of money coming over and settling down. Burlington Berries was also considering not paying us double on public holidays. It's quite a new company and you can clearly tell by the way things are being run. The new harvest manager is obviously in it for her personal gain ("Look at me building a career, woohoo! "), has embarrassing social skills and is simply too young for the job. Instead of keeping people that are experienced, motivated and willing to stay long term, they get rid of those and give the job to a person leaving in 3 weeks. The amount of people that come and go definitely give a very clear image of how dodgy Burlington Berries is. Especially backpackers should avoid this place at all cost. You'll do yourself a huge favour looking for employment elsewhere. It doesn't matter how hard you try or how good you are. If they're having bad results don't expect them to take responsibility. It's very obvious that a lot of people, either in the office or out on the field, do not enjoy working there.

I had such a great time doing my farm work here. I wasn't really looking forward to completing when I came but it has been one of the best bits about my travels around Australia and I have made so many awesome friends with all the other backpackers on the farm and was sad to leave when I finished. They were also really helpful about everything to do with signing off my farm days. If you get the chance I really recommend coming to work here.
