Burger Got Soul Launceston reviews
76 I ordered dinner online, and the weather was atrocious, but when I arrived, not one of the staff acknowledged me. I felt undervalued and taken for granted. The only interaction I received was very neutral, and only after my order was announced and paid for.
Great burgers though but, would I go back?
Probably not!
I got the soul burger and the patty was tiny and gross there was way too much mayo and it was overall gross.
The burgers aren't what I'd rate as the best, although the range of selection, opening times and reliability are all selling points. The weekly special is something to keep an eye out for, and the chips are some of the best in Launceston. Eating in-store is somewhat cramped, as only one side of the restaurant is fully accommodating. Top points: reliable, great chips and service with good set of variety.
A regular stop for us.
Because the food is awesome.
The service is spot on and the restaurant is always buzzing.
If you are visiting Launceston, I recommend stopping for a delicious meal.
To save a little time order online.
On a Friday night at 8: 15pm Burger Got Soul was turning paying customers away as they wanted to pack-up shop and close doors at 9pm. A restaurant further down the road had us seated, feed, watered and out by 9pm (that included entrees), but a burger joint couldn't! Your staff are laughable.
The best burgers ever…. Chicken, veggie and beef…all enjoyed a not greasy…but extremely tasty burger and salad.
The best meal we had on our Tasmanian holiday. Great burgers and awesome, family friendly staff. My wife and I are still shocked by the price and goes to show you don't need to take advantage of the 'tourism' prices almost every other food outlet goes by. My kids can cause a little ruckus when we dine in somewhere and it was a pleasure to know the owner and chef found it funny, rather than give us the stare. They even gave them a chocolate when we were leaving, shocked again! The owner is looking for staff and if I was looking to move here, I think it would be a great atmosphere to be apart of. 5 stars isn't enough!
Good burgers, tried them once dine in and once take away. I got the Hawaiian burger the first time and the fried chicken with peanut butter burger the second time.
The Hawaiian burger was decent, but the chicken was a little dry.
The fried chicken burger was really good, crunchy and full of flavor.
There was a wide variety of burgers on the menu. The burger I had was tasty and included a generous amount of salads, condiments and a juicy and well cooked burger patty. There was a good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks in the fridge.
The burgers were amazing! I had the Summer Sun (GF) and shared a large fries. Loved it! The menu was well-priced & it was around $25 for the burger and a bottle of Cider. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the cafe had a great vibe.
A burger joint worthy of its name for sure, and the two lovely ladies that served me promote it well.
"Burger got soul" and alot more
Warm, friendly service with fresh local produce and fast.
No stairs and accessible for all abilities.
I feel the prices are right for the quality of food and service you recieve.
Apart from Mums, the next best burger I've had. Better than the rest.
I feel we all should support local businesses like this. They have way better and nicer food, service and hospitality than the big corporate franchise's.
Well done, keeping it real
Very accommodating! I ordered takeaway to begin with and they were so friendly when I asked to dine alfresco. Loved my experience
My partner and I have just come down from Melbourne and stopped here for dinner. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Love the grass fed, free range, gf and vegetarian options. Staff were lovely.
We regularly order from here, my wife likes the Ali g and their steak burger is the best in Launceston for quality. We had a very rare issue with our order tonight and the staff couldn't have been more helpful to fix it, great service.
My burger had little black bits of what seemed like wood splinters in it, first time there but won’t be going again, I don’t like being served splinters in my burger
Hands down the WORST hamburger I've ever had! I was looking forward to trying the burgers from this burger joint but instead of finding a burger with soul I was presented with a cold mess that can only be described as an insult to the customer. The meat was obviously pre cooked because I couldn't see, hear or smell the beef cooking and it had no heat so the cheese did not melt. There was so much mayo on the bun and on the ingredients, I had to wipe as much off as I could.it was swimming in it. Why do you need to put sooo much mayo on it.it's meant to compliment the main ingredient ie the beef, not completely take over. It was cold and yuk! The bun was soggy from all the mayo. You are supposed to specialise in one thing, burgers, and you can't do that right. I feel totally ripped off. I won't be coming back.
The eat-in facility was like a cafe style. It was clean, the staff were very good and the meal came quick after our order. Plus, the food was delicious.
Great burgers, best in town. But the best thing is the staff - the front people and chefs. Lovely people and a pleasure to deal with. Happy to make little alterations to orders. If only more businesses in Tassie had this bunch running things they'd be raking in the cash. Top people and top food. Highly recommended.
My husband is a burger lover so when we saw the extensive menu we knew we had to give Burger Got Soul a try. Great value for money, burgers (including the kids burger are huge!) everything was delicious. Highly recommend.
It is a burger bar, but is not quite there. Burger meat was too compact and would have been great if they were a bit softer.
