Bruce's Cafe reviews
41We had fish and chips for lunch. The fish was a little overcooked. It was understandable because the staff were run off their feet. The biscuits and cakes were delicious.
Very friendly staff, very efficient service, great coffee, and loved the cheesecake. We will be back to try the hot food!
Great spot for a meal. Good service. Great food. Definitely will be returning when we are in the area.
Stopped for a coffee and also had a very nice cheesecake. I varied range of desserts. Sitting for inside and outside. Great service and food.
Just passing through and stopped for a coffee and breakfast muffins which both were first class. It was such a busy place with a lovely vibe and the staff were happy and friendly. I wish I lived closer as it would certainly be my local.
A great find. First time customers on a road trip from Carrick.
Breakfast menu has a good selection of sweet n savoury.
Eggs, coffee, staff, location, outlook … all great. We’ll be back, even if it means a diversion from the fastest route … and I’m always happy to pay an extra $ for a well barista’d coffee … blend, temperature, cups.
$7 for a coffee that tasted like warm milk. $7.50 for a slice of cake - it was nice but well overpriced. Bruce's used to be the place to go but it's not anymore. Disappointing.
Our favourite spot for breaky in Wynyard! Pictured is the Green eggs with a side of bacon and pork sausages. Great location and views! Toby’s estate coffee is an added bonus.
Had to order after the waitress forgot we existed, then waited 45 minutes for breakfast that never arrived, got a refund, went else where.
Best coffee on the coast - without doubt!
Banofee pie - tops!
Carrot cake - great!
Definitely worth a visit.
Great Spot by coastline. Customer service was the best we have experienced in some time. The coffee temperature was perfect, however the beans a tad bitter. Overall, would return. The food looks tempting.
Terrible wait time. 1.5 hours for average food. Over priced. No apology for wait times. Will not return.
Cracking breakfast with friendly service, even when it was very busy. Great spot across the road from the water.
What a fantastic place, right on beach. Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Well priced. And the food. Don't start me. Insanely good, huge portions and delicious. WOW
A great little spot. Very popular! Service and location was the best, along with the friendly staff. An awesome coffee by the way! Thank you.
Great service, great array of breakfast choices and fantastic coffee. Would go back if visiting the area again.
Love all the interesting plants, the rhipsalis, button ferns, Swiss, calatheas, nice to see beautiful plants, but coffee of course was really nice, Toby's estate never fails, atmosphere nice and buzzing, glad we found it on our travels. Highly recommend you stop in
A bit on the slow side, but the food definitely made up for the wait.
We had,
The fried chicken burger, and fish taco's
Both were fantastic and definitely warrant a return.
Beautiful breakfast couldn't fault it, even my 2 kids said the best scrambled eggs that they had ever had, very reasonable prices. The hot chocolates were very good and we selected mini lemon tarts to takeaway; the home made deserts menu was comprehensive. The service and ambience were faultless but I just felt the prices were inflated
Beautiful breakfast couldn't fault it, even my 2 kids said the best scrambled eggs that they had ever had, very reasonable prices. We shared the fish tacos and calamari dishes - both delicious and hearty but over priced.
