Made a call to book for lunch, phone manners superb. Upon arriving the fella was really nice. The pub was a traditional old fashioned feel at home authentic pub. The meals were filling and great. Could not fault. It was so nice walking into an original pub that doesn't try to be a hippy, yuppy, boomer wine, tapas and everything else in between bar. Will definitely be back.
Thanks for a great afternoon

I drive tour busses through Deloraine quite regularly, and I always come here for lunch. I've never had a bad meal, the food is really tasty and it's incredibly good value. I occasionally enjoy their plate of ribs, however I have become addicted to their biryani, so delicious and perfectly spiced! Highly recommend!

After one month road trip of sampling what tassie has to offer; the Old English had the best beer in Tassie and best value chicken parmi. These guys brew their own beer and the IPA is superb.well done to the owners for keeping it real and local.

Seriously the best meal in Deloraine. After a long day, we turned up at 615 for a meal, we were told there's a wait, but we were willing to wait, after all, you go to the places the locals are and here they were. Drinks had outside before the publican told us of a table inside and the band was amazing too. The pork belly was hands down the best I've had in Australia, crunchy skin but oh so tender inside, delicious all round. Other meals were a spiced prawn curry which was equally as flavoursome and chicken fettuccine pasta, so full of taste and a huge serving.
Come here and if there's a wait, you wait, trust me, it's worth it. Your soul will thank you.

Pleasantly surprised here for dinner. Wanting a no frills pub meal and was impressed with our meals and reheated price. More importantly, the local craft brewed green men IPA was bloody delightful!

Went for dinner on public holiday. Was busy of course, but because we went early we had our meals very promptly.
They were tasty & generous.
Friendly service too.

Family owned pub in Deloraine on the main street. Super friendly. Tom was full of stories in the front bar. Will return:)

Please check your receipts upon making an electronic purchase at the British Hotel, Deloraine. On Saturday July 23 at approximately 11.00 am the publican charged me $20 for a $7 bottle of Cascade stout. What a miserable, unhappy man he must be.

Great burgers and lovely staff! I was expecting more of ye olde English pub, got more of a run of mill 60-70s Australian pub feel.

Quintessential aussie town pub. Stumbled across this place coming in late for a beer and cider, and were attended to fantastically by the owner. We came back the next day for lunch, and were bowled over. Value for money, more than decent sizing and excellent quality meals. I had the T bone, husband had the full rack of ribs. Would just about come back to Tassie to eat here?

Great country pub, the meals are cheap but really good pub meals.
They have their own micro Brewery and the beer I sampled "little green men" was nice.

Went to the bistro behind the raucous bar. Nice service, but the food was hit and miss. The pizzas were just aweful, but the roast and the beef rissoles saved the night for 2 in our group of 5.

We pretty much had the place to ourselves for dinner. A hearty pub meal in a cute setting. We felt very welcomed and it made our stay in Deloraine. No fuss meals, very relaxing place.

Great staffs, friendly service and brews their own beer!

Now before I get started, let it be known, their BBQ ribs exceeded far beyond our expectations. I genuinely believe that it's better than the ones at Meat & Wine Co.

The pricing was fair and I had absolutely no complaints. Full ribs with chips and coleslaw was $25. Katsu Burger with chips was $15.

This was by far the best meal I had in all of Tasmania. Don't ask me how, because I honestly do not know. We stopped here by accident and have no regrets.

The beer was bomb - albeit spirits were limited, had some Gordon gin which did the job.

Cheesecake was on the underwhelming side of things, but I promise you at $8 - there's not a lot to complain about.

Stop here for dinner and you won't regret it.

Now that I'm in Melbourne, I can only dream of tasting these ribs again.
