Bridport Seaside Caravan Park

Great spot for camping and swimming in the beach and MTB rides, loves waking up and sleeping to the ocean and jumping on bikes for daily rides. Huge caravan park, and steps from the best coffee and cafe

Great spot, loved our time here. Gets busy, though, so book early. Locals were very freindly. The food van area near entrance one was good. Have eaten at all 3 pubs previously and they also serve great food. Couldn't fault much out this way. Kid freindly beaches. Plenty of day trips to check out. Thanks

We had an unpowered site for our small motorhome.
The toilets and showers were clean. However they had no power outlet for a hair dryer, no hot water in the handbasin, no mirrors. The showers you had to press a button outside the shower, which meant you were naked as the showers only go for 4 minutes and had to be ready to hop in.
The spot we were given was very uneven so we went to the next one that was better. The grass was very long and very wet to walk to the shower block.
For what we paid I could not recommend this park.

Unfortunately ours was a terrible experience. On arrival was told we had money outstanding! I had paid our invoice in full but they had a price rise since. An explanation first would of been a better way to handle it rather than the blunt - it’s in our terms and conditions. The park was absolutely packed with vans jammed in everywhere. We could not even access the nice site with a view we had paid for. We were then told there was only one site left - obvious reasons for that. Shoved in a back corner with a view of a car and dirty permanent van with an abundance of mosquitoes. We won’t be back in a hurry!

We enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful spot, although right on the foreshore, you do have the public footpath run right by the water front sites which initially made us a little uneasy at first but was no need to worry. Amenities were clean, although dated. Wasn't a fan of having toilets and showers in separate locations but wasn't a big issue given our sites proximity to them both. Laundry wasn't user friendly as you had to use the dryer in 12min lots meaning you couldn't really leave your washing and come back. Loved that the park has retained natural vegetation, gave the park a more private/ natural feel and less cramped (in saying that it wasn't busy when we stayed). Was a nice, quite night listening to the waves just outside. Would stay again.

What a fabulous experience. Our first family campervan experience was awesome. Beautiful weather, fantastic powered site with ocean views, lovely friendly and helpful staff, clean and well appointed amenities. We loved it so much we booked again to come back in a fortnight. Very highly recommended.

Not only she was rude and offensive, but “Karen” with the horse eyelashes and bloated lips was nit ready to talk to us as she was enjoying a cigarette and a chat outside so the look from here suggested I will talk to you

Finally we have an audience with her lordship. Enquired about the site reserved on the phone and a flat NONE.available! When further questioned about her confirmation an hour earlier, Karen was not budging and further added that Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife does not allow pets in caravan parks!
Whilst we knew this is incorrect, we decided to drive to Scottsdale where people are a lot more relaxed and down to earth

Lovely place to stay. We tent camped, the spots were decent for what we needed. The owners were very welcoming and lovely. Amenities were very clean and well maintained. A beautiful place for couples or families right at the beach. A short walk into the town where there is an IGA for anything you need and lots of places for coffee.

Great park in an awesome location. Right on the beach and next to the awesome food truck park if you don't want to cook. Great beach right next to the camp ground would absolutely come again!

Bathrooms are close and we'll maintained same with showers. The campsites are beautiful. My only complaint would be we had to walk all the way to the last wash sight to clean+dry clothes and then wait forever before one of the machines were done, we spent a whole day waiting to clean+dry clothes, otherwise amazing experience

This is a family favorite. Bridport is a great destination, and if you like camping (casual) or caravaning then this site is well worth a visit. Premium sea side campsites, good shower blocks and they allow fire pots. It's by no means the cheapest, but I feel like it's acceptable.

We stayed last night lovely outlook but far to far away from amenities and grass had been mowed and not picked up so was terrible and for $47 a night was over the top not worth that sort of money

We stayed at non powered sites. Site's in front of us had taps we did not unless I ran a hose 20 metres to our van paying the same money as those who can have water directly to their vans not happy. Please make it fair for everyone. Or charge lesser for those without water.

Great location, some of the facilities need an update/modern touch. Kept clean and superb spot for family to ride bikes along walkway to nearby park, shops. Will go back, I feel it would be best experienced in summer, beach very close for kids!

Very clean and quiet. Tenting it an very nice flat grassed sites with water. We arrived in the quiet time and as such not a lot of other campers. A very nice place recommend as a spot for a trip

Awesome place to stay. Close amenities, clean sites, perfect views and great nearby shops with everything you need! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Now we know why this area is so popular. The park stretches along the foreshore and encompasses three small sandy beaches leading onto a shallow shelf extending well out into the bay. Water, power, showers, toilets and cooking all available. Very enjoyable and extended our stay.
