Bossimis Sheffield Bakehouse reviews
38 Great selection of pies and cakes / pastries. Perfect example of a high quality classic country bakery.
The venison pie was delicious.
Ordered breakfast and it never came.they forgot to tell the kitchen.shocking service.will never return
Great little stop on the way to Cradle mountain. Super freshly made egg and bacon rolls, Wagyu beef pie and a couple of coffee. Beautiful
Best curry scallops pie and chunky beef pie. Every time we visit Sheffield, we always have those two pies.
The young fella that served me was friendly and professional.
The pies were tasty and of good quality.
I will be back.
Central location. Great coffee, varied light meals and pastries. Excellent services, neat, tidy and clean.
Overpriced at $18 plus Poor Quality Food; my scrambled eggs looked liked mashed boiled egg - I asked at the counter and the cook came over to inform us it was a boiled egg mashed with milk added then put in the microwave. The teenage cook said 'everywhere does it that way' to which I replied 'not where I frequent'.
Furthermore, the bacon was undercooked of which 1/3 was rind and fat! As Devonport residents we definitely won't be returning; locals gave us a couple of better alternatives when visiting again!
Had a scallop pie absolutely amazing. Exceptional pastry and the curry was not overpowering. Really enjoyed
Initial customer service was warm and welcoming.
Sausage roll tasty and good snack option.
Hot choc was ok, nothing flash, filled with frothed milk from 3/4 to the top for the large option.
We asked for two take away drinks but one came in a dine in mug but this was abruptly fixed by tipping it into a take away cup and adding milk.
Good seating area and good menu array.
Not as good as expected. The scallop pie is quite unique but the other ones are pretty regular. No much difference from frozen ones
Ordered breakfast when bakery was near empty. More customers entered and were getting meals before us. Waited an hour and left.
Tried again the next day. Slow service again and no understanding of what was ordered.
Two terrible experiences for what was once and amazing bakery and would not try for third time lucky.
A comfortable bakery with delicious food at reasonable prices. The scenery is beautiful, and it has a friendly, casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!
DO NOT EAT THE PRE MADE SCHNITZEL BURGER WITH THE LOT! NEVER HAD A BURGER THAT WAS PRE MADE AND IT WASN’T ADVERTISED THAT WAY… TASTED LIKE IT WAS MADE 3 DAYS AGO AND FELT SICK AFTERWARDS.
FRIEND ORDERED WEDGES AND THEY WERE OUT OF THE PRE MADE CUPBOARD TOO
Sorry, but to call a scallop pie a scallop pie, it needs to contain scallops. Go you can get at Banjos Bakery. Now that's a scallop pie.
The pies were great and the friendliness of the staff was even better. Definitely worth a visit
Great pies and sandwiches but had scrambled eggs and bacon and it had no flavour at all. Very bland and watery. Felt sick after eating it.
Fantastic coffee! After travelling from west heading to the east coast this was one of the best coffees we have had. Brekky wraps were great with friendly staff. Thanks for the great experience.
No covid19 practices being enforced or practiced when we were there, tables that were vacant were full of other peoples mess and were not wiped down. We ordered the scollop pie as we travelled from Queensland after seeing this bakery on taste of Tasmania tv program and were pretty excited to try it. The pie was barely warm and had hardly a scollop in it, underwhelmed to say the least, especially as it was the signature pie, my wife didn't finish her pie, sad because it cost eight dollars for each pie, maybe our expectations were to high. Coffee was amazing though as well as the custard slice, well done to the Barrista lady who has some great skills. Sorry to be harsh but believe this is a fair review of todays experience.
Coffee great cauliflower and chicken pie the best. Service great. Worth driving for hours just to get a snack and coffee here.
