Boba House reviews
33 Came here and got the grape green tea. Was so happy with everything! The bubble tea is so good and the staff put in plenty of toppings. Everyone there was super nice. The noodles are also delicious. Would recommend if you’re nearby!
It was so yum I came back the next day:)
I was extremely disappointed with the waiting time of 45 minutes in a shop of perhaps 8 patrons for 2 bowls of Pho and a serve of rice paper rolls. The cow had appeared to have jumped over the soup leaving 3 small shaved pieces of meat. I am fully aware that this cuisine is based on the broth and not a a major meat dish however, for the cost, it was a bit scarce. The rice paper rolls were dry and full of mesculin lettuce and a side of strange tasting peanut sauce.
100% authentic Taiwanese flavor I became a regular customer as soon as I ate it, full of the Taiwanese flavor of my hometownIt is really praised and recommended with five stars
Boba house has the best chicken bites in town! The portions are big too.
All milk teas are really good but my personal favourite is Thai milk tea!
The popping sodas are awesome too if you feel like wanting something refreshing!
Superb vibe! Plus the boss and his employees are super friendly!
My friends and I come here every other day.
Hoping to relive the taste of Taiwan. Unfortunately, the bubble tea was quite disappointing. The tea had an odd taste, and the pearls were overcooked and mushy. The shop also sells fried snacks, but the ventilation is terrible, and the place smells strongly of cooking oil fumes. I wouldn't recommend it. 非常不台灣
Proper bubble tea with the real tea flavour in the drink. I had the Peach Jasmine and my daughter Mango Jasmine. The pearls were soft and gooey. Pricing is good. Okay to sit in and drink - atmosphere is nothing fancy. Friendly staff.
03/2023 update - no more chicken chops now
The chicken steak is delicious, but the milk tea is terrible
If there is no chicken chop or any other meals, I strongly hope that the merchant can modify the menu, regardless of the menu content on the Internet or in the physical store. I looked up the menu and showed these meals on the Internet. I really felt like I was being played. It takes two hours to go back and forth from Devonport. I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends, nor will I patronize it. I don't agree with this attitude
Nice find in Launceston central area on a rainy Sunday afternoon. This place houses a boba tea counter and a counter selling rice box and Vietnamese food like Banh Mi and spring rolls. Staff are very nice. You can take away or dine in.
A+ for the staff being friendly helpful & understanding. The shop is cute and tidy and the table was clean. The Taro Milk Tea was delicious and Taiwanese style fried chicken is superb, even if you're like me and don't like spicy food you should still ask for it to be little spicy, it actually adds a lot of flavour. One of our fried chicken came out not very crispy and a bit soft and when we mentioned that to them they immediately offered to make a new one and it came out absolutely amazing. Customer service is on point and they deserve every star.
Went there because not so much nice asian food.
And my craving for Asian food had finally fulfilled.
Love it and recommend it.
Good serving.
But in winter unfortunately they open only for short hours from 11am-5pm
I tried their corn dog it would be nicer if there are choices of topping you can choose on your corn dog. By the way, there're so many things on the menu seem yumm. I'll come back to try next time.
Always order Taiwanese fried chicken and classic milk tea and always nicely. The owner is Vietnamese, but he makes the food is very Taiwanese flavor, definitely should try it if you miss Taiwanese food.
Large Fried chicken ,milk tea and fried tofu very nice very delicious. But it's better to put ordering together otherwise customer will be confused.
We walked into the place, mother and best friend. We were greeted kindly, all smiles, ordering was quick and easy. Quality of the boba was amazing! Also allowed us to take photos of the boba when we asked. I always ask if I'm allowed to take a photo of a brand or in a shop that's not mine. Will definitely be coming back again soon
They shouldn’t open the door when they not ready for the costumes, we order 2 drinks and wait for half hour.
Amazing! Tasty freshly made takeaways and authentic Boba tea. Was impressed with the takeaways being hand- made fresh.
Amazing!
I came her with my partner and ordered the sausage waffle and the Taiwanese chicken breast with a passionfruit bubble tea and it was easily some of the best food and drink we have had in a while.
Beautiful atmosphere and staff.would highly recommend to anyone interested in a quick bite to eat
Staff was being treated poorly
we went in one day and it was very busy like 7 groups of people waiting.but all i can hear is the boss doing nothing and shouting at his staff in Vietnamese and did nothing to help and kept pointing things for him to pick up and do.
Won't support this shop again.

I wasn't hungry and I needed to be on the road back to Hobart but on the 2ay back to the car I came across Boba House and I had to myself a Korean hot dog. The cook to care wrapping the hot dog in batter, gently rolling it around. Then he stood over the fryer watching it cook making sure it was doing ok. The result is you get a freshly and catefully made Korean hot dog. There is a short wait but it is worth it. I've only had Korean hot dogs once before, in Melbourne. Tge Korean hot dog from Boba House in Launceston was way better than that Korean hot dog I had in Melbourne. The onky negative - I was worried about the stick it was served on. It felt very flimsy and I was afraid it would break; fortunately it was also served in a cup for easy carrying. Excellent Korean hot dogs!
