Bluff Playgrounds reviews
38 Everything a kid wants from a playground, slides, swings and much more, right by the sea with, next to surf club, toilets and all.
Toddler are BBQ cook and seats for 50 people.
I've lived here for over 40 years, and the bluff has improved a lot over the years. New Cafe bar like restaurant. Ther is a walking track close by leading to a light house. Why the other direction of walking path goes around the water front of devonport all the way to the bridge. There are wallabies everywhere, mostly at night. On a good day, the waves can get pretty big. Big car park. Has skateboarding park. Children playing park with rubber ground. Kids would bounce off the ground before hurting self. Shower rooms at the bluff. Cold showers oit side close to water always good wash kids feet get all.sand of before getting in the car. Overall, it's really good except maybe just one thing, but that's not really a big problem for some, but the cafe bar restaurant is a bit pricey. $6 a coffee. If you want ice cream. There is a corner store close by.you just have to cross a soccer field. Was just that one let down. I hoped the new shop near the beach would be an ice cream shop, but it isn't just really a fancy, expensive restaurant. With that aside, you don't need a fancy restaurant. Enjoy the bluff any way. Great place, love it
Bluff beach playground is very popular, regardless of the season. My kids love playing there. There are BBQ facilities and public toilets nearby, as well as a short walk to the beach. During the warmer months when everyone want to enjoy the Tasmanian sunshine, the BBQ facilities get used up quickly.
Plenty of things for the kids to play on and had some nice crepes from the food van there at time.
Beautiful spot right next to the sea! Lots of things to do at the playground. Even a fenced off toddler park. We enjoyed watching the boats sail by whilst the little ones played.
Great playground with a great view to run the kids ragged on before we got back on the Spirit of Tas to go home.
Great spot by the Bluff. So much for the kids to play on and wear out the Grannies, Aunties, and everyone else.
Probably the best playground in Devonport. Lots of equipment for the kids, sheltered picnic and barbecue areas to cater for a reasonably large groups, plenty of toilet and even shower facilities and
a nice cafe/restaurant next door. There's also ample parking. Nice views of the sea, and a sandy beach right there.
Great playground with lovely view. Do not recomend if you have not much time as I could not make my child leave.
This place is absolutely amazing and right on the beach.
Easy to spend a whole day there in summer (we went in winter and we're still there for 3.5 hrs)
This was the best public playground in Tassy until Launceston put Riverbend park in but Launceston don't have a beach so if I had to chose, the Bluff is the best place to take kids for free
Excellent playground virtually on the beach for the little ones here. Toilets available and places for food and drink.
My daughter loves it there, has lots of equipment for children of all ages. Right next to the beach and a short walk to the pub and restaurant. The playground has a small children's toilet right next to the equipment and lots of other toilets/showers/change rooms not far away. It has a few BBQ and table and chairs.
Family fun day. Amazing equipment.
Suggestions will be made to my local council after being here.
Since they upgraded the space a while ago it's now a great family space, also just a nice place to hang out.
Excellent, except for the people's protesting the manadate at the Bluff, with the Australian flag upside-down, which our son who is a serving member of Australian Defence Force found very disrespectful, because while the surf carnival was on, families and children playing at the playground.
Great spot for kids not a bad place for the adults either parking and toilets within easy walk
My grand daughter had a wonderful time playing on the equipment. We sat and had our lunch in the sun. It'sone of my favourite place to visit
Excellent family facilities.
Quality equipment for children.
Adults can enjoy coffee from Drift whilst watching the kids play.
Free parking. Public toilets and baby change room available.
Also a good starting point for walking or bike riding.
Great views. Great playground. Lots of parking. Great variety for kids and a skate park in the vicinity.
