2 DO NOT attempt to drive to here if you aren't in a 4WD!
Maintenance currently, of the roads and the track itself is extremely poor!
I don't know who's responsible, but the hotel I stayed in, in St Helens has it listed as a place to visit, and I was excited from what I've read/googled.however I had a hired car, small MG, and had I not been a confident driver, it would have got stuck/bogged/and damaged from one access road, the second shorter one, not much better!
The track itself had huge potential of being a beautiful experience, however, giant tree fallen on track, not cleared, and after "taking the risk" to jump down to the trail, found in terrible state, enough to not feel confident to continue on own.
Hope this changes soon, and whoever is responsible gets on it! But for now, as of mid-March 2023, I'd say skip it!

Great walk. Great to see that they are saving these trees when they cut down so may in Tasmania.
