My review is for the cafe: Coffee was good and selection of pastries was good too. Atmosphere is ok, they always seem to be a bit busy so it took me a few tries on different days of walking by before I accepted my table-less fate and just got a takeaway. Must be nice if people are always there! Maybe I just wasn't going early enough, heh

Such a beautiful place to be. There is parking available outside the place and in the morning table and chairs are set up if someone wishes to have tea and coffee outside the shops.
The store is good for quick shops and has delicious cakes available too. Closes and 7: 00 pm every night. Fresh tea and coffee available.

Sensational gelato, the best I’ve had in Australia. And I’ve had a lot! Feels like you’ve stepped straight into Italy. Incredible taste and texture. Definite 5 stars from me.

Blac Fig is a must visit cafe, the people are so friendly, the coffee is delicious and the ham and cheese croissants with relish and a secret extra sauce are absolutely irresistible!

Great coffee, good selection of boutique food/groceries and the service is friendly. Unsurprisingly its not cheap, but surprisingly they don't accept American Express, which is an odd commercial decision for a higher-end food store located in Sandy Bay.

Wish it was closer to home. Everything we got was fantastic. Loved the coffee and the toasted breakfast wrap. The gelato and the cookies are well worth a try. Wish I could have tried more stuff, but I was only there for a few days.

Blac Fig is a fairly new grocer/providore/coffee takeaway. Of course stock was fairly limited to begin with but is great now. I stop there for emergency provisions, specialty items (ice cream is terrific) and a coffee and croissant sitting out after dog walk. I have found the service and staff excellent- helpful and friendly. The quality is excellent and worth paying a little more with the added convenience. I have to limit my Almond Croissant intake but it’s very hard!

This is a lovely grocer with a lot of gourmet and pre-cooked meals. Excellent for when you're hosting or can't be bothered cooking. We also went to the little cafe at the side to get some breakfast but they didn't have any savoury vegetarian options which was disappointing. The staff were friendly and offered us some sandwiches but I was craving a hot breakfast. My partner's oat latte was yummy, but my coffee was a little burnt.

The best range of all kinds of delicious food and groceries.
The also make a great coffee.
We would quite often pick up a range of pies, salads, breads etc.
And have a wonderful restaurant style meal in our holiday place overlooking the river.
Oh and did i mention the wonderful service we received every time by every person there?

Always go past for the coffee and ice cream but today I got 1 of the take home meals from the deli and the tried a couple of the soups. And let me tell you they were restaurant quality. Do yourself a favour and try them out. Even better if you return the glasss container you get $. 50 off next one. BONUS

Love my new local grocer, have been waiting patiently. I like the variety of items across all food groups. Love their stock ice cream. The deli meals and bakery options are also good. Am a happy camper.

Fantastic coffee that comes with a yummy biscuit, amazing and very high quality pastry, friendly and efficient service plus plenty of tasty home meals and grocery.

I visited after being told it was great.and true to the word.wonderful variety beautifully presented and fresh.friendly helpful staff what more could you ask for.

I've only been a few times now but I really like the place. Coffee is excellent and a nice selection of food/pastries to chose from, staff are warm and friendly.

Only criticism is that all the coffee is served in disposable cups (not sure if compostable lids), but they are all thrown in a bin.

Please consider providing reusable cups for those that are having coffee on the premises, and compostable take away cups for those that aren't.

The space felt very clean, modern and inviting with a nice and clear lay out. Fair prices for excellent quality!

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely a cut above when it comes to an all rounder family store.
