BIG4 Ulverstone Holiday Park reviews
54Walk to the beach is nice but you can't see it from the camp.clean facilities great showers excellent water pressure but not as good as other big 4s we've stayed in.slightly dated and more focused to permanent residents that visitors.
This Big4 is a good 1.
The railway is the only downfall, but the cabins were nice with good beds and room to move even though there were 4 of us.
I manager is a true sweet heart going above and beyond to be helpful, even came in on her day to help when there was a booking problem on our second stay. I can't give her enough love from us all.
My border collie and I enjoyed 4 nights and lots of beach runs. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that accept dogs but we had a great time and will stay again anytime we are in the area.
Paided for one night and woke up the next day and decided to stay 4 more on a NON POWER site
so I did the right thing went up and paided. Unfortunately our baby took sick and we had to pay extra to get on the ship home after night 2.
Kindly asked for a refund as I understand theres a policy's in place only to be told no. The park wasn't busy and plenty available sites so I didn't take a spot up.
I could of gone up every night and paid for a extra night wish I did that no instead I did the right thing by them.
Clean park but will not recommend also right on a train line
Had a caravan site- plenty big enough in great location
Peter the owner very helpful and friendly along with office ladies.
Brilliant Camp kitchen.
Close to town- 10 minute walk, 1 minutes in car.
Great place to stay
I recommend this Park highly. The park itself is killa clean and the staff incredible. Family friendly. Huge thankyou to Katrina and the rest of the staff for the warmth and care shown during my stay. Definitely returning xxx
Not a bad park, staff are super friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay more enjoyable.
We had a family budget cabin so shouldn't have expected too much, but the bed was really uncomfortable which really put a downer on the trip, being constantly tired made everything that little bit harder.
The kitchen and communal areas were very clean and had everything you needed.
The budget cabin we had included a stove top and and electric dry pan, decent size fridge and reverse cycle air conditioning.
It was a very small cabin but had some clever use of space and storage.
Not a hell of a lot to do in Ulverstone, but we went for a family gathering and was good to be close to everyone.
The kids enjoyed the bunks and the common areas. It's very close to a couple of decent parks/playgrounds for the kids.
The bowls club next door did some decent food and had cheap drinks too!
Would give it 5* if it had decent mattresses. The kids had thin foam mattresses and we had a low end double end mattress on our bed. Which cost us a good night sleep.
That said we upgraded from a powered site due to the weather, and it would have been worse in the tent on the days we went.
Multiple members of our extended family stayed here while celebrating a 90th birthday. Great cabins, fantastic hosts, camp kitchen was great and well used. Clean and convenient.
Very clean and tidy park, good amenities, location not too bad (is right next to a train line, but not many trains).
6 person cabin I was in had a spacious living area but rooms very small, and no power point in the bunk room. Shower/bathroom very small and cramped.
Camp kitchen very good size and well equipped. Didn't stay long enough to need to use laundry.
Friendly.
Close to beach and quick walk to city centre.
A good base to access multiple sites across the NW central coast.
Great location, we were only there overnight sadly. Next time we will stay longer. Our cabin was very clean, lady at reception was lovely.
Stayed in an apartment, lovely spacious. Clean and tidy, suited our needs well. The staff were lovely and very helpful ️
Great little classic big 4, quiet and big sites.
Not far from free Lilico penguins sites note this is great free site.
Always a pleasure to stay next visit to Tasmania I will be staying at Ulverston holiday Park friendly and helpful staff great
Stayed 2 nights in a budget family cabin, you get a lot considering how cheap it is.
Other places that charge a lot more give you a lot less.
Customer service is also extremely friendly.
Would highly reccomend.
Good condition holiday park with a good location, super easy walk into town. Showers had awesome pressure here too and the washing facilities were good.
Great family, park. Stayed in a cabin, one of the best I've stayed in. Only negative is the bed in main bedroom, I think its due for replacement as a little saggy.
Very good park, close to (1klm.) town, good amenities, nice people, well maintained, on the beach, our dog loves the beach.
Nice clean park. Close to the beach for a walk, swim ect. Easy walk to town and all you could want there. Clean amenities, great spot
Clean toilets and showers that are flat level to enter. Short walk to the beach. A nice walk (no hills) to Ulverstone town centre. Early evening a train would go past, people lined up with their children to watch.
