Bicheno's Ocean View Retreat Accommodation

We spent wonderful time in this lovely town called Bicheno! We decided to stay over night during our coastal drive journey to Launceston. We made one of our best decisions to stay in Ocean View Retreat. We get to catch sunrise from our bed, experience beautiful scenery of the ocean from the hill stop and nicely decorated garden in front of the house. The house is clean and well equipped with facilities. Highly recommend

Sophie and Lee are the great new owners of the hill top retreat. It was so relaxing and gave us a feeling of calm after a hectic Covid year. All of the stress dropped away and we were able to watch quite a few whales swim South. They migrate from May to November on their trip from Antarctica. We will be back again to enjoy the calmness brought on from the location just north of the town boundary.

If I could give no stars I would. We booked this hotel before COVID lockdowns. 2 days later we had to cancel our booking. The Hotel confirmed we would receive a refund. It has been 2 months and we are still waiting. The Hotel is not answering their phone or replying to our emails. We are calling every week and nothing.

We are amazed at how selfish this Hotel has been. Hundreds of our hard earned and saved money to a Hotel that did not provide a service and lost nothing from our cancellation. We are only a young family and this money (our money) would have gone a long way for us. Shame on you. You have stolen from our family.

A lovely ocean view apartment. The view was amazing facing the ocean. A cosy house. Separate toilets.

Amazing views! Units are tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. A highlight of out Tassie trip. Absolutely recommend to stay here!

An absolutely unbeatable view of the ocean and coastline. You must also get breakfast, which was probably my favorite meal in all of Tassie, and you can have it served directly to your patio overlooking the ocean. Not quite anything like it.

Very clean and comfy great views and fantastic friendly reception a huge thumbs up to the hosts Renaye and Shane a very warm welcome and made my stay very pleasurable nothing was any trouble I will definitely be going back.

We stay here one night at#5, huge bathroom, and a nice bed.we check-in quite late but the staff was really friendly and recommend some activities we can do.

My son and I stayed Weds. 16 May'19 and enjoyed the site and accommodation immensely.
I forgot to eject my dvd "Ignacio de Loyola" from the player in the ground floor of the building at the top of the entry drive. I phoned the booking number and explained then sent a prepaid stamped envelope/cd box to address 18067 and have not received any follow up. Please assist.

We received a warm welcome. We stayed in unit 1 which has an amazing view of the beach. Renee was very friendly and told us some things to do around the area. She also told us that they are renovating so I can’t wait to see what it looks like if we come back to Tasmania.

Great place to stay whilst in Bicheno, hot shower, great beds and linen. Very comfortable roomy layout, all you'll ever need when your away from home.
Awesome ocean views as the name states, a really nice place to spend a weekend away.
Really nice to be a short distance from town, our hosts Renee and Shane were lovely and were happy drive us in and out of town.

This was the view from our room, not a window, but glass doors. There are no air conditioning units so you would have to leave the glass doors opened (still able to lock the mesh door) and pull the curtains while sleeping.
Overall nice stay, if not for our noisy inconsiderate neighbours.
