Bethune Park Camping Area reviews
22Clean and free campsite. 2 clean toilets and a small shelter in case of rain. Great view of the nearby lake.
A great camping spot. Always love it here. Wonderful new toilets as well. Thank you for providing this free camp.
Great free camp spot with flushing toilets and bins provided. Perfect stop just outside Hobart on the way to the West Coast, nice clean spot!
Nice campsite but the better bottom part with the hut has been blocked off with a boom gate so not much camping there anymore
If you're after a light show before bed. This quiet, tucked away little secret has it. Spent nearly a week here and loved the bird and animal life. Perfectly placed for sight seeing with Mount Field, Ouse, Hamilton and New Norfolk all within an hours drive.
Highly recommend staying here. Free camp, pet friendly, amazing views, flushing toilets. What more do you need?
Very beautiful place for camping for tent and caravan with beautiful lake side view. 7 days free camping.
Love the views, the lake. Stayed 3 days to recoup. Watch for traffic on main road, dogs on leads etc. Toilet clogged when we were there so make sure you have your own.
Spacious area, with toilet facilities and waste bins, that is well maintained. Nice views from upper and lower levels. Handy for local touring.
Cosy little hidden gem of a camp ground.
Decent toilets.
No shade unless you're lucky to get the shelter from the small shed.
In a quiet location.
Some reception (telstra).
Great free camping area very windy but beautiful views. There is an area down a very steep road our if the wind but prefer up on the hill.
Beautiful place for a day or two camping. I camp there frequently. Peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended.
We arrived at dusk not much to see as it was getting dark & raining continued on first thing in the morning.
Lovely views, clean toilets. Busy spot with other campers but enough space not to bother each other. LOTS of flies when we were there which brings the rating down.
Stayed for one night, great view up the top. Toilets cleaned and bins emptied regularly from the looks of them.
What a lovely place to stay right on the river or up the top. Don't forget to go to the Tall Trees walk, they are well worth the visit.
A great site with flushing toilets. It is next to the road but not alot of traffic.
Boat launching ramp next to bridge
A free camp with 7 night Max stay
Stayed here several days. Beautiful and peaceful spot. Bridge was being worked on at time so supplies meant needing to travel further for us but Ouse township access at that time would have made it a 5
Suited to self contained RVs. Has basic toilets. Ample space either high up with great views or lower and closer to water.
