Best Western Murchison Lodge

Great place to stay, room very clean, everything provided, the gentleman at reception was very polite, informative and gave great tourist destinations for the rest of the day and the next, we did it all. Vey happy.

The Burnie Best Western is a nice little motel, ideally suited to travellers and those not needing to be in the city area. Around 15 minutes west of Burnie, it’s close to the water and on the route to Stanley and the Tarkine. The river is very close and there are some lovely walls along the river edge.
The motel is spotlessly clean and the owner is very pleasant and friendly. Parking right in front of your room and the beds very comfortable.
The restaurant is closed, and there is not a lot of good choices for dinner in the local area (pubs, takeaway or Chinese). I recommend that you travel back in to the city for food, where there is a much more cosmopolitan atmosphere.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I continue to be impressed. The rooms are clean and cozy, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff members are not only friendly but also extremely polite. Despite being located about 6 to 7 km away from the town area, it offers a perfect quiet retreat for a peaceful night's sleep. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Comfortable rooms with everything you need. The best feature here is the service - thanks for the great advice on things to see and do all across Tasmania, fantastic local knowledge and advice had us well prepared for everything.

Could not fault this Motel. Spotlessly clean, very friendly Management & Restaurant provided a perfect meal. We arrived early to just drop off luggage and was no problem to them. Thank you for your 5 star service, and for being so nice and accommodating

Hotel was quiet. Staff was not there when we arrived but it was christmas day and everything was ready for us. Good location between Burnie and the west coast.

Rooms have been recently refurbished, we had a large room. All clean neat and tidy. Only criticism is the little thing like fixing the extractor fan and heater in bathroom. Nice quite stay and good grassed area with seating

The staff were nice and even the manager. He offered to lend an air fryer because I was staying for a week.

Very tired motel no air-conditioning no electric blanket you get a hot water bottle and a small table fan to accommodate both weather conditions not enough parking for the amount of rooms only gave it a 2 star because the the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good

Beautiful place by the river. Friendly staff and neat and tidy motel. Nice restaurant, unfortunately not open on last visit but previous visits was great.

Ok this place is not a 5 star place, but it is comfy, clean and has what you need. It would have been very nice in 1960 as that is what I think of when I enter. It's located rather close to all the shop, restaurants you need. It has its own restaurant and the river is across the road. All good Jim

Weird they use huge room numbers attached to the keys like a cheap motel, should update that
Unfortunately Jetty Restaurant was closed during our stay (I suppose cooks have to take holidays too)
Overall an excellent experience, would stay again after ensuring restaurant is open

Great location, the Cam River is across the road with BBQ facilities. The manager and staff were very helpful.

Basic room, newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Location is 10 min drive from Burnie and restaurants. Jetty restaurant on site is a little uninspiring and over-priced.

It's close to the local shops, a short drive to Burnie which has lots of shops and nice places to eat. The Jetty restaurant attached to the hotel was a great experience, we could have dinner just walking down stairs or via room service. The food is amazing, we loved it! Super recommended.

Without a doubt the best chicken schnitzel ever cooked to perfection no faults the staff tonite lovely n cheerful
