We stayed at Stuart and Judy's for one night and were extremely impressed. Their attention to detail and welcoming nature are second to none. Highly recommend a stop over or longer stay.
Thanks Jason and Wendy from WA

Our stay with Stuart & Judy at Beaumaris Beach Guest House was perfect. From the time we pulled up in the drive to be greeted by Stuart, to when we had to (reluctantly) leave this morning, we felt totally at home & comfortable. Our room was cosy & well presented with a comfy King sized bed and a choice of three different pillows for our comfort. The ensuite had quality, full sized toiletries, and very thoughtfully, a night light. Stuart & Judy set up a delicious breakfast each morning for us. Home-made breads, jams, chutneys & vegetable rolls were just a few of the items on offer, along with locally sourced juices, milks, fruit etc. Beaumaris Beach Guest House is a place where you can make use of the loungeroom to sit in front of a cosy fire with a wine or port in hand and enjoy a quiet read, view the artwork (some by Judy) on the walls, or if they're available, have a relaxed chat with Stuart & Judy. They are super hosts, and have a great knowledge of the area to advise on things you can see & do during your stay.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay. Warm and welcoming hosts, the most delicious food, including vegan, cosy room and attention to detail. Visiting wallabies, bird life and a most peaceful beach for a morning dip, long walk or for the day. We’d definitely stay again!

Fabulous 2 nights! Stuart and Judy were wonderful hosts who have thought of everything Our room was spotless and had everything we could possibly need including filter coffee and home baked biscuits. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of home made goodies. We enjoyed a very tasty cheese board on our deck and also ate here both evenings. We would highly recommend Judy’s cooking everything was beautifully cooked from local ingredients and very tasty. Definitely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved Beaumaris Beach Guest House and couldn't have hoped for more during our stay over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Judy and Stuart are wonderful hosts; welcoming, knowledgeable and creative in both their decor and food preperation. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a memorable stay with freshly ground coffee in the rooms, little chocolates, Judy's home-baked biscuits, complimentary port and ginger wine, as well as a complimentary cheese board and glass of wine (delicious) during your stay.

Judy is an incredible cook with genius recipes at the ready. Breakfast is an array of flavours, packed with treasures such as homemade breads, homemade spreads (orange marmalade and lemon curd are winners), freshly baked muffins, local milk, homemade Greek yogurt and granola. I could go on. If you have the opportunity to order dinner at the guest house, I would highly recommend doing so. We had the lamb chops and the pork chop. Both were perfectly cooked and came with a huge bowl of vegetables from the local market and their own garden! After chips, parmi and burgers this was such a treat and each individual vegetable was again packed with flavour.

Clearly we enjoy our food but Judy and Stuart's attention to detail allows you to feel perfectly at home here. Judy's colourful paintings and drawings hang from the walls, seating areas are well thought-out, the veranda allows you to enjoy the sounds of the ocean whilst spotting wombats and wallabies in the garden. The rooms are decked out with every comfort and amenity you could hope for, strong WiFi runs throughout the property and boardgames are available for your enjoyment.

Stuart took the time to tell us about the surrounding area and gave us some fabulous recommendations for secret spots at Bay of Fires and elsewhere in Tassie.

Prior to our arrival, Judy and Stuart also helped us to locate and book a Christmas lunch in St Helen's and paid to secure the booking for us. A sign of their generosity and good faith in people.

Another bonus is the wonderful 3km beach accessible just 5 minutes walk from the property.

Quite possibly the best guest house we have ever stayed at. Enjoy!

I can't recommend staying here highly enough. I told my family to put it on the list as soon as we sat down in our room!

Here's why it's so good:
- gorgeous beach house overlooking the water
- greeted at the door by our host (Stuart)
- shared games and lounge area
- well appointed rooms (I spent a few hours lounging on the day bed reading my book)
- cheese board and glass of wine on arrival
- sustainable focus: they're re-planting the garden with native plants, use mostly rainwater and composte food waste etc
- local, and often home made, produce
- delightful continental breakfast
- friendly hosts who helped give us some pointers on the rest of our drive up to Launceston

My review can't do it justice! Just add it to your list for a very chill, friendly stop on your journey up the East Coast of Tassie

Stuart & Judy are amazing hosts, they make you feel at home. The guesthouse is clean, breakfast was excellent and Judy cooked the best meals we have on our trip.
There are plenty of attractions close by, so we used this as our base for a few days.

Welcomed by Trudy & Stuart at possibly the best B&B I’ve stayed in. Lovely complementary cheese platter and glass of wine wine and wonderful breakfast. Great in room amenities. Mini bar items very reasonably priced. The hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure a comfortable stay & provide knowledge of the local area. Also recommend The Surfside 150 metres walk for the best chicken burger that you’ll ever eat

Incredible hospitality and comfortable, delightful accommodation. If you are looking for a great place to stay near Bay of Fires, this is it. Short drive to St Helen’s and Binalong Bay beaches, as well as to inland gems such as St Columba Falls. Hosts made the best breakfast I’ve ever had while travelling. We stayed for two nights, and loved every minute of it. This could also be a great option for families travelling with kids or older parents.
