Bay of Fires Conservation Area reviews
45Stunning! No other word for it! Go there, take it in, walk around smell the air, look at the water. It is pristine!
Magnificent place in Tasmanian, great water, views and coastline spent a long weekend in a nice B+B
Such a must if you are in the upper east coast of Tasmania
It’s a bit of a journey to see but totally worth it
Be sure to check it out
Get in early for the best spots. This photo is where we stayed at Seatons Cove. Peaceful at the end of a track and nothing but the sound of the waves and a quiet piece of beach to relax on.
Not very big you would be hard pressed to find a vacant camping spot during holidays. No phone reception some nice beaches that are day use only close by but it's pretty gnarly cove where the camp spot is with a lot of bullkelp and rocks.
Very beautiful place. Just loved how the red and blue contrast between the rock and sky can make eveyrthing so beautiful.
Super peaceful place, water was a little too cold to swim.
Not worth the hype or drive. There are many more such places along the east coast that have easier access to beach and more 'beach space'
Perfect beach with crystal clear waters which are warmed by beautiful February summer sun.
Very few people on the beach, so you have plenty of space to relax and have fun with friends and family.
What to say about this place other than INCREDIBLE? It's so beautiful, one of the most impressive places in Tassie. Mother Nature did a very good job. It's our responsibility to take good care of it, and enjoy it as much as we can. There's plenty of beaches, lakes/ponds, rivers and wildlife to make you appreciate life.
Was a nice drive to get there and the beach leading to the bay was beautiful. The bay itself was underwhelming though with nothing really there. The lookout was basic and just looked onto the bay at sea level height. Preferred sending time on the long stretch of beach leading to the bay of fires.
Only missing a couple of stars because of the cold wind. White sands are nice and everything, but a 5 star beach would be warm enough to swim at least!
Cristal clear water bay. Great nature with incredible landscape. Very cold water, thermal gear suggest if swimming intended.
Very well maintained, free camping, beautiful nature. A shame there are no sheltered areas for a picnic.
Amazing tranquility available here
Worth the drive was quite windy when I visited but didn't mind
Soooo many beaches to choose from
I hated it. 7 hours drive and not even a cafe out there. I can see the same rocks at other locations across tasmania without the drive
The rocks were a little over rated to be honest. They look great in the photos but less epic in reality.
Breathtaking views but incredibly cold in the wrong season, make sure to takes lots of warm clothes.
So beautiful. The clash of the bright orange on the rocks and blue from the ocean make this a spectacular sight
One of the most beautiful beaches in Australia, crystal clear water and white sand. It is out of the way, cold and there are no bathrooms or stores here.
Still it is well worth the trip to see something very special.
