Bass and Flinders Maritime Museum reviews
10Absolutely a must see, very interesting and knowledgeable people there to guide you through the place and then you get to walk around at your leisure.
Fun to go to! Got to stand on the ship that was put in the museum! Was great history on George Bass and Mathew Flinders! Well worth a look and was interesting! It’s a must
Thank you to the wonderful volunteers at the museum. Had a lovely hour or so here which we really enjoyed. The passion the volunteers had for the place was infectious. Reading about Bass and Flinders was very informative. Personal details both written and verbal keep it light and interesting. Inspecting the boat both inside and out was great, the work that had gone into it was outstanding. Keep up the good work.
I am interested in Oz history and found this very informative. Allow minimum 2.5 hours to fully appreciate it. It is a part guided tour.
Wonderful maritime museum with extraordinary displays depicting the adventures of Bass and Flinders. A big thank you to our knowledgeable guide Ivy and all the other volunteers involved in the upkeep of the museum. Truly worth a visit.
Totally recommended experience. You will be delighted and amazed as you walk around and listen to the wonderful guides. But the magnificent Norfolk will take your breath away. Unforgettable!
Very interesting allocate some time to explore as displays and information extensive. Very helpful and knowledgeable.volunteers
Excellent centre and well worth a visit. Thank you Craig for showing me around and sharing your personal experiences of sailing and building the Norfolk replica.
Very knowledgeable staff members and a well set out display. I would not have gone in but my partner thought it would be good and he was right; I found it interesting.
