A must visit for breakfast or preferably lunch, fabulous service from the team, one of the best views in Australia, fantastic wine list and delicious food across entre, mains and dessert, you could not be disappointed

Need's a lift for those people who find it difficult to walk up the ramp to get to the Restaurant, the Service in the Restaurant was absolutely fantastic very welcoming and nothing was a problem if every Restaurant had staff like yours they would never be without bookings. 100% great experience.

Came here to play a round of golf (Lost Farm). Had lunch before. What a magnificent location!

You may have read reviews. You may have seen Barnbougle’s golf ratings. Nothing will prepare you for how mind bogglingly superb it actually is. Every single square foot is majestic. Every hole a challenge, but not cruel. To golfers it will always be a magnificent challenge, no matter your handicap. Within these rolling hills and sometimes huge greens, sometimes not, there are chess games within chess games on every very individual one. The only thing that beats looking forward, is looking sideways and back. Be prepared for views you’ve never seen. Be prepared for sunrises and sunsets that demand a photo.
This is a golf course the world is very lucky to have. It’s not an enclave of rich, entitled privilege, it is, possibly, the greatest public golf course on earth.
Yes, there are great pro shops.
Yes there is accommodation (though I haven’t stayed there. Stayed in town, which is 15m away)
Yes there is fine dining and bars to suit every occasion or mood.
More importantly there is the land it is built on. It feels rescued. It feels cared for. It feels like magic happens.
Get ready. It’s THAT good.

Beautiful golf course with perfect fairways and greens. Went in March and the weather was sunny but very windy.
Golf shop is well stocked with golf outfits and accessories.
Bathrooms and toilets are clean and well equipped.
Friendly approachable staff.

Scenery magnificent.but bring a spare dozen golf balls. Close the day out with the $25 pizzas and a cold one from the bar! Decent service too.

Outstanding course. Tee off early to avoid the wind that picks up later in the day. Bring plenty of golf balls. If you miss the fairway you ain’t going to find your ball. An iconic course at a very reasonable price accessible to anyone that can make the trip to Tasmania. Stunning coastline. A must visit.

Would like to extend my appreciation to Maria at reception for getting me and my 3 friends a reservation (despite being fully booked) at the restaurant at Lost Farm.
She was able to get an early sitting and we watched the sunset and had the most amazing meal. This was so worth it after a round of golf and topped off a wonderful day! Thank you again for going above and beyond

After 10 years of visiting this incredible course I am sad to report that it feels as though standards are slipping (mainly from a management perspective. The courses are still incredibly good and the hospitality in the bar and restaurant were great).

Our group of 8 were excited to visit for 72 holes and get our first hit at the new Bougle Run (which was short but pretty fun). However upon being presented with our bill upon check out they had billed us for $85 per player in our group of 8 and informed us that the 'all day golf' package we had signed up for only covered us for the Lost Farm course - truly bizarre when they are on the same property. $85 for a pitch and putt course is just sheer lunacy. It should honestly be $40-50 max or even free for house guests. Staff in the pro shop and reception were blunt and rude when we questioned them about the extra charges. At $85 just give Bougle Run a wide berth.

Be warned, they also just automatically add on $10 per guest per day for use of a pull cart, not informing us of the charge and we have never been charged for it before. It all just feels a bit miserly when you are coming as a group of 8 for 2 nights and spending $1000's.

Just my two cents. It was enough to leave a sour taste for us and we are now looking at other options such Bonville, Cape Wickham etc for our annual trip.

Had lunch at the restaurant. The service was impeccable. The waitress was very accommodating and really funny. Top marks. Would visit again just because of the service we got today.

All time best golf course’s ever played, a golfers dream or curse if wind picks. Lost Farm clubhouse was terrific and facilities A1. We were lucky to have 4 days of great weather and totally appreciated all 3 courses.

Have been dining here over the past 4 years pretty much for the view and staff, menu has barely changed, find it overpriced for the food experience, isn't the chef a little bored? In saying that my husband and I are heading back once again for lunch and will take our special visitors in March. The venue is pretty special if you are showing off Tasmania.

Outstanding golf resort with first class golf courses including 14 hole short course complimenting 20 holes of classic dunes layout.

Great course to stay and play, mid January is when we went and it seemed like there was nobody on the course, the course is unreal and the sports bar has friendly staff, would come back here again.
