Banjo's Bakery Cafe reviews
31I love this bakery! A nice man in the back Ried always lets me eat the leftover bread crust
I ordered a sandwich platter from banjo's yesterday for a gathering. It was very well presented, a good variety of sandwiches and they were all delicious! Will definitely be ordering this again in the future
Busy coffee/bakery shop in the middle of Burnie. Coffee was brought to our table outside. The coffee was pretty average but the bakery items looked great. Seemed busy with locals so always a good guarantee.
Went and had lunch at Banjo's today. There seemed to be plenty of variety available, with lots of savoury items like pies and sausage rolls and a wide assortment of delicious looks sweet treats like rolls and tarts. If you need any gluten free products, you will not find them here though, so if you have any coeliacs in your group, you will need to go elsewhere. On this occasion, I had a party pie and a traditional sausage roll, with both of them being very tasty. The bakery was very busy when I was there, so getting a table may be an issue during the busy periods. A very tasty experience overall and a great selection of bakery items, to suit all tastes.
Don't try and order from them using Door Dash, they just cancel the order immediately and you have to wait to get your money back.
Great bread.
Okay service.most times. Some staff so sourpuss.
But a MAJOR issue.
We used to love eating in.hmm. I wonder how long you will use the covid excuse to serve up food on paper bags and drinks always in takeaway cups.
Hot chocolate disgusting, used to be good.
All other cafes in burnie do not use paper bags as plates and takeaway cups when you dine in.
Makes you wonder if some staff do not want to wash the dishes.
We do not dine in here any more. Go across to Hudsons coffee where you get real dine in cups and real plates.
A nice bakery cafe with good freshly made stuff on the menu. Coffee is average but food is really good. Ample seating capacity and EasyPay parking available by the roadside next to the cafe. Staff is so friendly and helpful and is open on public holidays- won't charge you extra. Service is very quick and warm. Prices are very reasonable compaired to expensive Tassie food industry.
The staff is poor and food smells and tastes not like other banjos. Male staff is so disrespectful as female. Very poor cleaning service. They all have attitude which is shame if you are in customer service job.
Came to the Burnie stall every time I came to Burnie but after today I won't be coming back the sausage rolls are half the size that they were so they tried fixing the problem by giving me 1 for free but it was cold and they aren't even cooked properly thrown out food and left very unhappy
Honestly if you are looking for service this is not the place to go.pies thrown into paper bag and drinks brought in paper cups.not really your enjoyable lunch place.booths so squashy.
I was asked buy the girl behind the counter "What Do Yo Want "can you hurry as we are busy.nice.
I think they have used covid as not plates and cups to wash less ataff needed
Out of about 10 breakfast options, only 1 didn’t have meat… Which was a piece of bread with a tiny amount of shriveled mushroom & spinach on it. Pretty disappointing! I ended up having to go somewhere else.
Perhaps think about having some breakfast toasties that don’t contain bacon or ham!
Always eat here for breakfast before work now. Love the party pies lol. And the bakery team have good music taste.
All the food I have brought from Banjos has been good, the bread rolls and sandwiches look very inviting.
Can't even rate the service the gentleman who served me really doesn't want to be there terrible terrible service
How ridiculous having one person serving and making coffees people lined up everywhere 0630 am Monday morning.
I have competed in Targa Tas a few times and when I do, I eat a Banjos all over Tassie for breakfast. I love it and wish you guys would expand into W. A. Banjos is a highlight of my trip!
Nice place but some time bakery items are not fresh, tables and chairs need to be clean, staff needs to he friendly. Bakery girls talk too much with eachother instead of customer service focus.
Thanks
Had disappointing service here on a last couple of occasions even sat my order in arm sweat were a woman was leaning on the counter. Walked out in disgust and have never been back.
I am so glad a last minute decision to get a take away and choosing banjos was the best choice.
My coffee was delicious and better still the little ham quiche was the best I have ever had. I wished I had ordered 2.
I will be visiting there again.
Hmmm, went in there and the girl immediately looked at me like she was angry at me. Really cold and unfriendly for service staff. Won't bother going back.
