Ashdale Miniature Farm reviews
13 We drove in and saw the owner. He just walked on by. No hello, no friendly welcome. Why stay at someone's farm and pay $68 to see some random animals, especially as an unwelcomed guest? We left.
Not recommended.
We spent a few hours here. The animals were very loved and friendly. Worth the money for a unique experience.
We spent a couple of hours with the animals today, they were all incredibly friendly and clearly very loved.
Such a wonderful little farm and the owner is just as wonderful!
We had a lovely visit.
My son got to feed and interact with lots of the animals.
Highly recommend! Totally worth the entry fee for the level of interaction you get with the animals.
After walking the paddocks feeding the cows, sheep, horses, donkeys, alpacas and mini pigs the highlight for the kids was the petting zoo with rabbits, baby goats, baby chickens and Guinea pigs over all great experience
Such a delightful place - my kids LOVED IT (as did I) and the animals have all clearly been handled a lot, as they were incredibly calm when being fussed over by very excited kids! Frances is awesome and was so patient with both of my girls. You won’t regret!
Myself and my group of friends had an absolutely splendid time at the miniature farm! It is owned by a lovely couple, and the host told us all about the animals which all seem very well cared for. It is $25pp for adults which we were more than happy to pay. You get a small bucket of feed and a brush for the animals. We saw a huge range of miniature animals who were all lovely to interact with (please be gentle with them, especially small children). Highly recommend, we had a lovely afternoon!
Lovely farm with a lovely owner. There were goats, ponies, donkies, bunnies and chickens, all so cute! The owner was super helpful and let us hold all the baby animals, which was so fun. Would definitely recommend, as it was one of the highlights of Bruny Island
Lovely owner who made an effort to ensure we enjoyed our time, including helping to let us hold baby goats and rabbits
Absolutely amazing experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bruny Island! The host was really really lovely and helpful! Great hands on experience and would be perfect for young children.
The highlight of my day on Bruny Island. We were able to wander the many paddocks for as long as we liked and visit each animal in turn. Could easily have spent an entire day there. Can't recommend enough.
Such a variety of animals; cows, donkeys, goats, chickens, bunnies, sheep and more! You can go into all their paddocks to get up close and give them a pet- super cute especially the miniatures:) didn’t realize the cost until we arrived, $25 for an adult and $10 for children, but definitely worth the visit when in bruny!
Lovely farm with wonderful hosts.
We had a great time visiting, we were able to walk into the paddocks and pet, cuddle and feed some of the animals, which included: a variety of birds and small (but not miniature) gerbils and rabbits and alpacas, mini cows, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys and pigs.
Thanks you Frances!
