Artifakt Gallery & Cafe reviews
46Friendly staff and nice layout. Not too busy when we arrived mid morning. Ordered the smashed avo on gf toast - so good! Fresh and delicious. Muesli and banana smoothie is also delicious and nice selection of other drinks.
A lovely stop for an easy lunch. Super friendly staff,
Lovely gifts, jewellery etc…
Clean space, clean toilets.
Great easy meals.
Lovely cafe, lovely food, lovely staff. Had lunch, coffees and some cake. Some gifts and homewares for sale. There is a very interesting art gallery at the back of the store, with a very sombre sculpture by John Parish of a Tasmanian tiger morphing from flesh through to bone that is worth a look. Lovely place to stop along your drive.
I enjoyed my chicken panini and coffee, and my dining companions' nachos and soup looked good too. Pleasant service, and great jewellery, clothes and other stuff to check out.
Lovely place in Swansea.
I had a panini which was good. My friend had the chicken soup which she enjoyed as well.
There's a whole room dedicated to art and there's also other items to purchase in the store.
Egg and bacon panini with chips hit the spot. Just what we felt like. Coffee was good too. Plenty to look at on the walls
Bought a stunning gift for a friend. She loved it and you can always find a gift great coffee and good food at Artifakt
Enjoyed breakfast this morning & my very hot soy latte Spot in! Very relaxed atmosphere & quick service. Well done.

Not sure why people rave about this place. I ordered a pesto chicken and sun-dried tomato panini. It came out with hardly any pesto, bland chicken and one sun-dried tomato on each piece of bread. We waited 15 minutes for two coffees which were too hot and basically undrinkable. We didn’t want to say anything as the lady behind the counter was rude and yelling at customers who were asking simple questions.
Very nice cozy little cafe by the edge of the beach, the food is very good, the sourdough bread is at just the right texture, the avocado smash has the right amount of fetta and saltynessssss, beats many cafes that I have been to in the past.
Maybe it is not as updated and flashy like other cafes in bigger towns, but it has more quality than most of them, as the service is very warm and friendly, the food is prepared right at a very high standard. Would definetly recommened this place for a visit~
The food was great, service was quick, the seating was comfy, and they have free and fast wifi. One of the ladies up front even noticed that I filled my water bottle in the sink and walked over to show me where the filtered water faucet was. Went above and beyond!
Some interesting things to buy in the gallery while you have a coffee. Recommended by locals as best coffee in town.
Delicious food, amazing service, super friendly staff and they catered to our gluten free needs carefully. We will be back!
The artifakt big burger is pretty rich in flavour with the egg, bacon and everything else. The chips are also crispy and golden brown. Delicious
Great atmosphere; immediately greeted on entry. All the meals are made onsite! Great "homemade style" lasagne 10/10!
We loved our visit to this little gem. Loved the variety of fresh daily specials like the soups of the day. Everything from cake to coffee was delicious. Most liked dish was for sure the smashed avo on sourdough. If in Swansea stop by and also have a look around lots of really cool Tasmanian inspired art work. Staff was always very nice and welcoming. Can get crowded at times so give them a moment and you will not regret it.
Had the vegetable soup, was completely void of flavour, just water and vegetables. What a waste of $15
Stopped for a coffee, then added an almond croissant, both of which were delicious, then added a glass bowl, very tempted by the earrings. Definitely going back!
Great food, but it's on the expensive side, with ok portions.don't expect a big breakfast If you aren't going to spend $40 per person.
