Awesome General Practice/Doctors office… was able to get in last minute as a tourist visiting the area, the receptionist was super friendly and Doctor Ali was very helpful and knowledgeable…

I needed a last minute appointment as I unfortunately got sick whilst on holidays in Hobart. I had a sinus infection and needed some antibiotics to help.
I was able to do my RAT test and see the doctor shortly after opening as he had a free slot.
The receptionist was incredibly patient and understanding of my situation and the doctor checked me fully for all symptoms.
I would recommend this GP for anyone!

Great to finally get a GP who will keep me on her books.

I was very unimpressed with my experience at General Practice Plus, Argyle Street and I would never return to that doctor. I took my son in with concerns and the doctor did not look interested in the slightest. He actually appeared bored and disengaged. His attempts at engaging my son to do the basic check over were very poor and left my son feeling frightened and uncomfortable. The Doctor ended with telling me to go back to our normal life and upon reading the screen, said ‘back to Glenorchy, the greeeeeatest suburb on earth. ’ I cannot begin to say how highly unprofessional that is, let alone insulting. I’m then expected to pay for this consultation and I will now need to work on my 3 year old and convince him that going to the Doctor is not a scary experience. During economic times such as these and given how hard it is to see a Doctor, this simply is not good enough.
I would highly recommend this Doctor does some further work on their bed side manner, professionalism, working with children and manners in general.

Great receptionist! She was a sweetheart. I arrived early and was seen on time. I was nervous about seeing a new doctor for the first time in over 5 years but Dr Allison Moore was lovely, very professional and thorough.she took my concerns seriously and didn’t brush me off as other doctors I’ve seen have before. Highly recommend this medical practice. The beautiful receptionist was super obliging, fitting in my 5 year old on a ladt minute appointment. Doctor was gentle, patient and kind.

Do not book appointments with Dr Ali, he is incredibly rude, dismissive & was not interested in my wellbeing at all. My appointment took 5 minutes, was charged $95 for a horrible experience that left me feeling worse than when I went to see a Dr. Phoned the practice to discuss this awful experience, still waiting for a call back!

Very concerned and disappointed with the service quality delivered by the reception of this medical centre. Charging and giving out the correct invoice shall be the very basic task to complete with. Unfortunately, it just didn't happen. Instead, they mixed up my invoice with that of another patient. I'm so concerned about my privacy implications of my information being shared with another patient. Extremely DISAPPOINTED!

The Argyle Street practice is excellent.
They are attentive and courteous and the doctors are first class.
I am an extremely heathy 70 year old thanks to their attention.

Dr Sara McKenzie is a wonderful support and a caring an attentive doctor. The staff are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice.

I saw my usual GP about a bi-annual diabetic driving review. Although my blood tests showed no abnormalities, Doctor Richard Ralph insisted on getting a review from an endocrinologist. I had been reviewed by an endocrinologist (Dr Georgie Stilwell) in the previous 6 months I was still required to undertake another review by another endo before clearing me to drive for another two years. The diabetic clinic at the RHH (to which Dr RR) had referred me considered it a waste of time.
Not happy.

Very friendly reception staff. Top marks to Dr Sara MacKenzie. Very friendly and caring doctor. I’ve found her to be very thorough and listens and does investigations as appropriate.

Very pleasant and helpful staff and location is central to CBD so parking in the station is next door.

I was seen by a Doctor I have not seen before I have several health issues I need help with and she was able to grasp my situation in a very short time and give me sound advice and is steering me in the right direction to get results that will alleviate my issues.

Until today I have never been to the Argyle General Practice Plus Surgery. I was very impressed by the reception I received, very warm and friendly. I saw Dr Ralph and had a very pleasant consultation and treatment.

The staff, and especially Dr Sweeney, are consummate professionals. It is a great practice with great people.

Very positive experience. Dr Paransothy was extremely pleasant and professional. My lovely GP stopped practising sometime ago and I had not felt comfortable with her replacement so this practice is a godsend. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful.
