Argyle Accommodation

Worst play to stay. The only good thing was the location. Rooms were tiny and smelly. I don't know how is this even a 3 start. Very overpriced for rooms that rooms don't even have a washroom in them, have to walk pass the lobby to use toilet. Never coming back.

I had a very positive experience of the hotel. It was clean and the location was ideal. The manager was especially friendly and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Hobart

Staff went above and beyond to help my father that stayed there, and really saved the day! I would pick them again just from the attention to the customer service.

Fantastic, I was so impressed. The location was so convenient, very spacious and very very clean. An amazing choice of cereals for breakfast. Definitely book, you’ll be happy you did. We’ll definitely be back. A big thank you to Ange, so efficient and very friendly.

Great place to stay! The location was excellent! The rooms were in incredibly spacious, we were 5 people spread across 2 rooms and there was ample place for our luggage. Kitchen, breakfast area and rooms were all very clean. Continental breakfast had a good selection of bread and cereals. Location was excellent, supermarket next door, good selection of restaurants near by and Salamanca was 10minute walk. Excellent communication through out and we received door codes to access our rooms promptly. Highly recommend.

Have to say, it is much more than what we expected. Comfortable room, really clean, close to everything, and everyone is happy. Will stay there if have chance. Highly recommended.

This place is fantastic. The owner Ange was very accommodating. I had a last minute booking as I had a family member unwell in the hospital over at the Royal. She was a fantastic host. Lovely large rooms and very tidy. Will definitely be back.

Went there to hook up with a cute girl and now we are gonna get married!

Excellent location, clean and well appointed, Argyle ticks all the boxes that you need but then goes way beyond. The team made our stay so welcoming and friendly that it felt more like staying with friends than a hotel. We loved the relaxed breakfast, the chats with other guests but most of all the care and atttention of the owners who really made our stay so special. Our kids still play with the bubble wands you gave them! Thanks you so very much! We will definitely stay again when next in town.

Terrible noise from other guests who were rowdy for most of the night. These guests were in the communal kitchen and lounge area, swearing and arguing, walking the corridors and talking in very loud voices. We didn’t get much sleep. It was a shame because the room was clean and had obviously been renovated recently. The location is great. My regret is that I didn’t consider how the communal kitchen and lounge could be a problem and how other guests can be so inconsiderate. We won’t be staying here again.

This accommodation has everything you need and is in such a convenient location for easy access to everything Hobart has to offer. Thank you to the team looked after me when I needed to book an extra night and made sure I didn't have to change rooms etc. I highly recommend:)

Ange is great, very welcoming, cute little set up and interesting history to hear about, its in a gr8 location being opposite the royal Hobart hospital and just up the street from woollies right in the cbd.

Great place to stay. Conveniently located to hospital & shops, clean and very friendly service. Will stay again.

Great location in the heart of the CBD and rooms and bathrooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast with the tastiest apples and pastries. Was also able to call the number provided when we couldn't find the accommodation and they let us check-in early.

There wasn't much walking space in our room and the window couldn't open since our room did not face onto the road. Be sure to use the fan in the room or ask about rooms facing onto the street to get a bit of airflow.

Incredible location, ultra clean, brilliant rooms and very welcoming.
The lightning fast free wi-fi, great security and complimentary breakfast only add to the value.

We stayed for 2 nights. It is not a very family friendly place to stay. By accident my 7 year old son spilt some Coca Cola on the floor the night before we left. The next day we received a call from The Argyle that we were not allowed to stay there again because of the stain on the floor. We were in shock! Not very good.

I needed to stay in Hobart as my partner had an accident and was placed in the RHH. I was so impressed with the way Andrew handled my initial booking and that he was willing to be flexible with my dates as I wasn't sure how long my stay was, and he also made a follow up call to a hospital contact to help me out. Lauren was also extremely welcoming and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable and as a female staying alone I felt very safe with the security keys. Absolutely would recommend this accomodation.
