Purchased some yo-yo loaches the other day here, they were nearly killed by the worker getting them out. It took over 10 minutes to get two fish and in the process the guy was scooping up the gravel with one of the fish trapped underneath, this happened multiple times and it was how he caught the last one. Fortunately the poor thing recovered and seems to being okay but you cant allow a worker to scoop fish out in a net full of gravel like it's ice-cream.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, I wanted to support a local Tasmanian business. Just purchased my usual order in store and noticed the price had gone up nearly $20 a bag, when at the checkout I was asked if I wanted to join the new membership program. I said no. Then told I could save $17 on my purchase if I did. No Thanks! Quick search online and I can save that $17 with free delivery. You just lost a customer.

I'm very happy with my local Animal Tuckerbox. I frequently go for food for my many animals. The store is always tidy and appealing to browse. Helpful staff. Good parking.

For once it didn't feel like a store who was happy to sell fish but rather to sell them as objects. "big fat bristlenose nose" was one, "very chubby Ryukin" and also "true siamese algea eater" even though they are siamese flying fox and are not true to the flying fox is they have a different appearance.

Never been to this Animal Tucker Box, has more parking than the others. Smaller fish room. Nice fish. Will come back.

Love animal Tucker box. I buy everything there. The have a great selection of fish. Everything you need for all animals. Love spending time there.

Service is unbelievable. Every staff member that I have had contact with has been friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I never buy for my small dog Charlie anywhere else even though it is a 25 min drive and I could go to a closer store.

Okay, so animal tucker box is the place to go if you have an animal and want tucker for it. Pick an animal? And theyll have it. Trust me, that's real. I would not make this up. And they have staff. Staff that know things. Some a little, some a lot but you know they will have someone to either help you or not. I myself bought dog and cat food from here and both animals enjoy eating that

As the name implies it is a large shop that caters for all animal foods there wellfare including fish tropical to gold fish all staff are friendly very helpfull and prices are reasonable

Very poor aquarium maintenance, their tanks are filthy and each tank had a sign on them saying "not for sale". When I questioned as to why, the lady said (in the most condescending way possible) that their PH levels were too high due to chlorine problems. No sorry, nothing. We drove 40 minutes to purchase fish. The least you can do is say "sorry for the inconvenience"
Work on your people skills and take more pride in your store.
