We went for my Nan's birthday.
Lunch was so beautiful and tasty!
The maze was great, fun for both young and young at heart.

Great fun for kids (big and small) and plenty of food to choose from after. Plus somewhere to park

Spacious setting that kids enjoyed playing and exploring. Service was friendly and fast and food was great for adults and kids.

Really enjoyed the two mazes with my daughter and four grandchildren. Lots of giggles had by all. The activities were a bit of fun particularly in the wooden maze. The new building and surrounding plantings are lovely with a car park close by. Richmond in general is a charming place to visit with lots to do. One could easily spend a whole day exploring.

Maze was fun. The kids loved it. Quite challenging!
The service at the Cafe was slow and quite frustrating.
We approached the counter to order and there was no menu. The cashier didn't even realise. She went searching for a menu, which took a couple of minutes. Meanwhile, a queue was building behind us, so we felt pressure to order quickly. With more time, our order probably would have looked different.
We were directed to collect our own cutlery. There were no knives available, which we needed for our meals.
We sat down and waited at least 25 minutes for chips for the kids. This allowed time to check again for knives. Success. The adults meals arrived first, which created some frustration for the kids while they waited. We asked someone to check on the chips. One bowl turned up a couple of minutes later. The second and third bowls 10 minutes after that.
I went inside to request another jug of water. None available until "someone replaces them".
I would go again for the maze, but I'd definitely find a meal somewhere else.

Maze was great fun, awesome for kids too. Waiting staff in cafe were quite passive aggressive, rushing around getting tables out and generally making the customers feel quite uncomfortable in the process. Although food is good and well presented.

To those that haven't been to Amaze Richmond yet. Do not waste your money! Was extremely disappointed. SO SO many missed opportunities to keep both the adults and children entertained. I completely felt like I wasted my money. How about some music? Fun facts about Richmond or the growing of the maze etc as you go along? Literally anything would have been better than what is on offer.

Not to mention the lack of forward thought. Surely in this day and age there should be exits or "hints" towards an exit along the way in case of medical emergency or God forbid any other type of emergency ir threat.we didn't have to sign in etc on the way into the maze so if something was to happen and people had to quickly exit there is no way of knowing how many people are in the venue at one time.

EMPTY restaurant today at lunchtime so seated ourselves at a two place table, Another 2 diners arrived short time after and the “head waiter” seated them right next to us and commenced a very noisy conversation with them! We could not hear each other so ate our meal and left abruptly. Not going back!

Had a great time. Finding the animals and solving the code added to the fun. Fabulous food in the Cafe.

We did enjoy the maze with our family but one thing I was pretty annoyed at as people do have allergies was the dog that was sitting on a customers knee whilst we was eating now I love my pet as we all do but with so many children there I don't think dogs of any size should be allowed it may have only been a small ankle biter type dog but it was still there happily with its head near the top of the table and crockery etc so is this place dog friendly or not? We would still recommend going here but also your food prices are a bit expensive especially if you have a large family maybe also put the actual animal there next to the piece of wood stating the animal maybe put some concrete animals when you are going through the maze

Two tables spent over $200 got the worst dining experience for the last ten years in tassie. We ask for table for 6 adults and 3 kids. The guy looked like the manager said all table fully booked while my friend come after us and sit in the same ‘booked’ table straight away without booking. I recognize they might not welcome us with so many kids. Food is just average, nothing amazing, cauliflower just warm not hot, batter very hard and dry, taste like from frozen. We order a kid meatball sub, confirmed with the waiter, but comes a main size finally. No docket provided for payment (same for my friend table). THE AGGRESSIVE WAITER YELLED AT MY KIDS WHEN THEY ACCIDENTALLY PUSH THE CHAIR OVER. IF YOU DONT WELCOME KIDS, DONT RUN THE BUSINESS AT A KIDS PLAY SITE.

A perfect day out with the family! Stunning restaurant and a very fun well thought out maze with extra activities for the kids. Amazing!

Terrible rendition of an old time classic, the maze was woeful, Kinda like an ice cream store that doesn’t sell ice cream, this place sells overpriced entry to a maze a 2 year old couldn’t get lost in. 10 minutes entertainment Finding the animals in the maze consists of looking for timber offcuts with permanent marker name written on them. Surely this is a joke. Very disappointed….

The maze is nice, fun but and easy to do. We did the way in and back in 30 min really taking our time. The maze is more for kids than for adults (too easy for adults) I would say, and the price is fairly high to my taste. Nice and friendly people. The café is proposing nice food. It opened about 10 days ago after a number of years of development.

Concession tickets cannot be purchased from their website. - Only at the entry service counter on the premises. Which is stupid. Despite 'concession' appearing on their website for introductory ticket prices during April and May of 2022. Apart from that, I have no issue. There needs to be transparency about tickets, regardless of how they can be bought.

Still closed, a great deal of construction has been completed. 2 new mazes and new cafe. Not sure when they will open.was supposed to re-open Oct 2016 after a $7M renovation but no activity there for a while
