We stayed, we loved it.loft was a great place to stay in Strahan. Annie was friendly and very helpful and made us feel at home. Our room was well furnished with a kitchen with quality cooking utensils, a washer and dryer, coffee, tea and breakfast foods. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it.

Hats off to management. We couldn’t actually make it here but they were nice enough to give us a refund.

Lovely place to stay. Excellent value for money. Spacious. Nice touch to supply breakfast cereal and milk. Not on the waterfront in Strahan but only a 10 minute walk. Kind host who left us some home made beanies to keep us warm as a gift which was charming.

Had a lovely time in beautiful Strahan. Accommodation was very comfortable, everything you need for a short stay. Easy walk into town.

Absolutely magnificent. The apartment was ENORMOUS - with a full kitchen, massive bathroom (including a washing machine and dryer, which was so welcome after a week on the road!), and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on (a huge king-sized bed). Little touches were appreciated - the lovely sheets, chocolates in the fridge, and even a spare umbrella to borrow. Only walking distance from the nearby IGA for supplies, and about 15 minute walk to Strahan harbour. Would definitely recommend Aloft for friendly owner and an extremely luxurious and comfortable stay.

Never had a more hospitable host! We were late to arrive because of the long drive from Hobart to Strahan. Annie turned on the heater for us in both the main room and the bathroom. They have anticipated the needs of a traveler and provided everything you would require for a comfortable stay, including washer dryer, with laundry detergent, and a comprehensive file with information about the area. Highly recommended!

Cozy accommodation with warmer in the bathroom, living room and for the bed. The lady was nice enough to wait for us since we arrived late that day. Fully furnished with breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Peter and Annie were incredibly hospitable and the room was spotlessly presented. Very comfortable living area filled very generously with everything you needed. Will certainly look for availability here again at our next visit.

Best value for money self-contained apartment in Strahan town.

S42°8.934' E145°19.744' offers a lot of self-contained apartments, little B&B and a hotel, some far from the Esplanade with bars and restaurants. If you want to have dinner in town and afterwards not to drive to your accommodation, Aloft Boutique Accommodation is the best affordable option in town. Aloft is on the beautiful Queenstown to Strahan road, just before the junction and the descent to Strahan Harbour and next to the petrol station and IGA. Only a five-minute walk to the port. Annie & Peter rent four studios. Studio 1 and 2 in the house and garden studio 3 and 4 in an outbuilding in the garden. The outbuilding is newly built and very modern. Everything is clean and well maintained.

In February of 2020, our large garden studio 3 had a large double bed (very comfortable), living room with flat screen television, DVD-player and split air conditioning. The kitchen had every mod con like a dishwasher with dishwasher tablets. The bathroom had a washing machine with washing powder, a dryer and bathroom heat lamps. The rain shower was excellent. Wi-Fi reception was excellent too.

Annie & Peter may quarrel with their computer and Booking.com, in the details they are God. Every detail has been carefully thought of in this clean and well-maintained studio. Look at their welcome guide "Compendium". You only need food from the IGA 80 meters away. They left milk in the fridge and breakfast cereal in case you need to leave very early. Nice home baked Anzac’s. Thank you, Annie!

We contacted Annie & Peter via e-mail. They offered a 15% discount for direct booking to avoid the hefty fees from internet travel agencies. The $170 per night was excellent value for money.

The Aloft garden studio was modern, clean, well maintained, comfortable and five minutes’ walk from the Esplanade. The garden studio, which has been taken care of by Annie & Peter down to the smallest detail, offers the best value for money in town. Highly recommended.

Great value stay and a really nice welcome after a long drive - rooms are very comfortable and meticulously clean with a big bathroom and kitchenette with everything you need. Short walk to supermarket and the harbour. Really lovely host who made us feel very welcome.

We reserved an appartment with the thought we could cook in it. But we made a mistaken. The owner (Annie) just gave us an appartement with cooking facilities. The appartement was spacious, clean and great. The supermarket was on walking distance. The city centre of Strahan was very close and had nice views on the water. Annie was a really great hostess, she even gave us some sweets for our rode when we left.

The most friendly and welcoming people, very high standard of apartments, many little personal touches - truly a littke oasis!

SO good, I've booked to stay an extra night!
