All Things Nice Bakery and Cafe reviews
28We had brunch here yesterday. The staff were very friendly the food was tasty and the coffee was delicious.
We had bacon and egg breakfast and tea. Delicious, nothing fancy just good ole cooking and hot cup of tea.
Old fashioned service. Always welcoming. Hot coffee. The place to go after disembarking from the Spirit of Tassie!
Would give no starts if i could i dont know how they can call themself a bakery got 2 sausages rolls and they were black and hard as a rock and they chucked in a pie half price that literally could knock somone out of with and this was at 11 in morning imagine how bad things are by end of day
All things bad bakery and cafe. Person at the counter told me the croissants were fresh. They were AT LEAST 2-3 days old. The coffee tasted burnt and very sub par. Terrible serving attitude too, practically told me to leave with how we were treated, would not recommend.
The best made pastries in Deconport. I love the vegetarian pasties. The staff are always friendly and if they don't have enough pastries are always willing to warm extra.
I marked 4 star for atmosphere as it's a bakery not sure what the atmosphere should be, It smells nice though
Great value food, the perfect feed for landing off the Spirit before taking on the rest of Tasmania.
Walked into the bakery at 11am on Thursday and they didn't have any chicken salad rolls so I asked if they could make 1 as I saw plenty of fresh rolls and was told they couldn't make 1 up as they had just cleaned the fridge out. After I said that's appalling she said "well if you really want 1 I will do it " but as she was quite rude and was obviously too much out of her way I walked out and went next door. Poor attitude all round
Stoped for a cuppa, after getting off the Sprit of Tasmania, we got service with a smile, and quick also, we had bacon & egg breakfast pie. It was yum, and Leroy had a cappuccino & i a hot chocolate. Very nice. Also noticed they won 1st prize for pies.
$5.50 for the most descusting pie of my life, one bite of the original pie and I wanted to get back on the ferry
I don't know what's happened to this place since the last review but the service from the older fella was awful. Rude brash and generally not nice to be around.
The young bloke was lovely.
Unfortunately the food was awful, no butter on the bacon and egg rolls, undercooked egg and cold beans on a cold plate were served after some audible berating of the younger staff member by the older one.
Add to that an unpleasant/unwelcoming welcoming atmosphere due to the older staff member and I'm honestly a bit shocked as the reviews were good, hence why we stopped on the way off the ferry.
We were coming from NSW for 60th birthday celebrations for my wife and friend, we arranged a cake from all things nice, including the pick up date.
We got a message informing me that the cake would be ready, however it was a week early. The the day before we were due to pick up the cake we were told that the order was canceled due to staff shortages.
Not impressed.
This is our go to bakery, but last night (Friday!) I went to get a treat to have with a cuppa, 8pm, CLOSED! What the hell on Friday night.
20 mins before advertised closing time, all staff standing outside talking, lights on door open. Went to walk in, guy closes door says "closed" and continues talking to other staff. Watched 3 others customers turned away while I typed this.
Had 2 of the mini quiche, $2 each. Sat at the table and loved them so much I got up and bought the remaining 2. Staff were lovely. My friend got a chicken curry pie and loved it too so boom! Epic food, would eat here again. Thank you x
Sad I didn't get a photo to add to the review.
Opening times vary. Not open 24hrs.
Older man very rude. Food often cold (sausage rolls).
Staff under pressure. Sometimes a wait for service when busy with coffee.
I was a regular here.
Lift your game. Your losing customers.
I came of the boat from Melbourne and wanted a coffee and breakfast. It was as busy with take away coffee orders which is a good sign. I ordered a cafe latte and their big breakfast. I had a very long wait turn the man who took my order checked again that it was a cafe latte I ordered. I guess he was trying to time it to come with the meal. The coffee was ok, sadly the breakfast although huge was over cooked except for the eggs which were under cooked. Runny yoke is great, runny white is not so good. The bacon was so over cooked it was burnt in parts, the mushrooms were black and dry. I’m not keen on repeating this experience. Next time I’ll try another place.
We ordered the pancakes which were literally inedible and really over priced. The coffee was nuclear in temperature but didn't taste like much.
The bakery goods did look nice but I strongly suggest you don't order from the menu.
No longer open 24 hours. Arrived at 7.30 pm while waiting for the 10.30 pm ferry looking forward to some refreshments. They now have a small hand written note on the door with new opening times. Went to the Kit Kat Cafe next door, which while not open 24 hours was at least open at 7.30 pm on a Sunday night.
Every time volleyball comes to town the Launnie team hits up this bakery. Must visit if in the area.
