9/11 Bottle Shop reviews
19Girl working was horrible, we go there as customers and she treated us terribly. My son entered the store with me (13) I got him chips and a coke. She told him to leave or that she wouldn’t serve me. You can do this nice or rude…. She was the manager and rude. Dodge this shop it’s a joke.
The guys here are fantastic they are very knowledgeable. Really helped me in my selection, gave me a few options. I would happily recommend them as a stop and they seem to have fair selection of local spirits looking forward to get stuck in. I even bought a bottle for a friend who now wants me to go back and complete the set.
Cracking good selection of Tassie wines. Easy to browse and buy. Wish this was my local bottle shop!
So beautiful historical store, a lot older than me, and so friendly service, strongly recommended!
Just left there. Only gave two stars rather than one because one of the employees bothered to help us with cider selection. The other employee was sarcastic, dismissive and disinterested in assisting us in anyway. Work for an airline and come to town regularly. Will be telling EVERYONE, passengers and crew to STAY CLEAR.
Not worth your time. Limited selection, out of the way, won’t sell to foreigners unless they have their passport to prove their age. I’m 31 years old and the drinking age is 18, get over yourselves
I came across this shop during my last trip to Hobart. I loved the selection of Tasmanian wines, especially since they can be hard to come by on the mainland.
Have to keep asking them of they've any Weihenstephaner Traditional Dunkel as it is rarely on the shelf but always out the back. On the other hand at least they can be counted on to have it.
Mead.that's all.only place besides Tas wine center that I could find mead. Maxwell meads are amazing. The building is beautiful just saying.quite nice!
All kinds of wine and beer selling at reasonable price. The staffs are very helpful. Just drive in and buy. Very convenience
Good location in the City / open till late / wide selection of beverages / convenient parking!
Great selection of beers and local wines. It would have been great if there were a larger whisky and spirit collection as this section was particularly thin.
Arrogant and disinterested part-time failing uni student couldn’t care less I bought 4 cans of Sapporo and I gotta ask for a paper bag? Yeah I’ll stick those 650 ml cans in my pockets ta champ
If this isn't the grandest bottleshop in Australia! Epic architecture, heritage building, the old Hobart gas works I believe. Great range of drinks too ;)
Beautiful boutique styled liquor store that has a wide variety of local wines to choose from. Staff were extremely helpful with selecting locally sourced wines. A+
Probably the second best place for Tassie craft beer selection, and possibly the best Tassie gin selection. Huge wine selection too. They definitely cater for a range of tastes, and have a lot of Tasmanian stock.
Went for lunch and a look through the building only to be rudely spoken to by the owner having a bad day.left and ate in a beautiful little cafe just a few metres down the road.
I'm giving this five stars because of its location in a beautiful historic building. It also has a nice selection of wines. Not the place to look for discount wines (although they do carry box wine), but otherwise a wonderful place to shop.
