Zap Fitness Rundle Street reviews
10 Joined for almost a year now, what I can said is sometimes their cleaning staff are quite rude and some of the equipment are poorly serviced. Some machine are worn out for an extended period of time without being fixed. Eg the cable machine and few other machine has its parts missing (not to the point that it’s not functioning, but you would expect these issues to be fixed as you are paying double the price to their competitor on the same street)
And for a number of times the cleaner has come in and for some reason ‘smashing’ equipments dropping weights to the point you think they are breaking the equipments purposely.
And most recently the wifi router might have been stolen or sth, the signal inside this gym now is just bad. Regress to 3G era.
Plus the wifi password is nowhere to be found. For these reasons, I just can’t recommend this gym to my friends.
Worst GYM ever. I have been to the gym three times and tried to cancel the membership, every time the staff told me that is done. Guess what, they still steal money from my account.
I've sent emails to cancel my membership and zap hasn't ever gotten back to me and continued to take money from my account.
And the cancellation fees are ridiculous and close to extortion.
I just want to be treated fairly and honest.
Wouldn't recommend this gym very bad customer service.
Very bad experience. When I cancel my membership there, they just ignore my request, and I have already pay the membership there for tow months.
Really good gym, has everything you need to train every body part can't think of anything wrong with it
Great gym overall.
Im sure members would appreciate to be able to access free car park facilities, especially in the CBD locations (Rundle St and Currie St).
Sad to mention, but the only Zap club offering car park in the CBD was East End, and it has just been shut down last Sunday.
Not a smart move.
Very good gym club! The club manager is very welcoming and smiling, very pleasant after a day of work!:)
I would like to share my experience. I think I am not a member at Zap East End any more because 2 months ago I went to their office and ask for cancellation. After a process of "cancellation", the staff here told me that my membership was successfully cancelled until today I went Zap Rundle Street, and found I was cheated and they were continuing taking my money these 2 months.
Thanks to warmhearted staff Dylan at Zap Rundle street, he helped me to make a complaint for my suffering, and help me to get 1 month free for the next month, with his patience and proficiency. I would definitely recommend you to this place.
Great gym, has a decent amount of equipment and makes great use of the space. The club manager is always friendly to speak to and is great with giving advice on technique. The PT is great with one on one sessions, he gives advice on form, technique, and will push you harder. The PT also offers evening HIIT classes that are fantastic and I would recommend anyone to try them out.
Largest Jetts I've been to and also the least crowded, and I've been to several Jetts around Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Lots of space, tons of cardio machines, super central location. What else do you need?
