Zap Fitness 24/7 Prospect reviews
13 The personal trainer here, Eanna, is a top guy. Very knowledgeable, very friendly and will help you achieve your goals. I would highly recommend him.
The club is decent, has everything you need.
Member here ATM.
Fair equipment.
Basic quality.
Treadmills TV connection doesn’t work.
Not much teles around to keep you entertained while working out.
If you workout in the morning the rising sun sets the glair from the front glass makes it impossible to workout. Specially in the treadmills as the glair falls up on the machine screens. Only two machines in the back corner are usable from 7am to 9am. So no point working out that time.
Could use a bit modern treadmills.
The Gym was great. I've just been there twice, and I really do like it. Quite big, yeah I've been there either very early morning or late night, so it's empty and enjoyed it big time!
Misleading while getting membership by staff that cancel anytime but hard to cancel when call support staff said they have some policies which they email but gym staff misleading you first when get policies and support staff said they have different policies totally fraud
Do not go this this gym! Misleading advertisement and hidden fees everywhere, $195 just to cancel a membership even though it says a 12 month contact. So may be cheap membership but add that $195 to it, paying for a less than adequate gym
Two issues with Zap:
1. It's filthy. The fans haven't been cleaned since before the pandemic. Weights are strewn everywhere, often in walk spaces and old bottles and discarded towels hang around the gym for weeks. I go to other Zaps and this is not the only one with these issues.
2. Their billing service was unable to take money from my account - despite it having more than adequate funds in it, and them being shown evidence.
I was previously a member of Zap until their DebtSuccess billing company (ironic name) payments started failing. My financial institution could not explain it, all other CC and DD were going through fine. I left being hounded by debt when the money was always there.
Now that they've worked out how to debit my account properly they're charging me overdue fees.
Woeful service across the board.
The only good thing is I've got a cheap rate because they're desperate for customers, and the gym is largely empty when I go there.
I wonder why?
I have been a member of gym for more than 2 years always always a bad experience when trying to put membership on hold plus the trainers are not well educated about the gym policies. Incorrect Information given at the time of signing up, when called they won't do anything about it. As soon as my contract is over I am done with this gym and will personally ask my mates to leave this gym as well and join another fitness centre.
Very very bad experience
Great variety of equipment, excellent price and 24/7.
From the perspective as a business leader I find the almost empty vending machine disturbing, in my whole year I can't recall it full, this leaves wasted oppotunity.
Any item over 6ft is covered in months worth of dust and it's obvious the mirrors above that height are missed when cleaned.
Overall great experience for what I am paying, just a few things to consider.
Impossible to cancel your membership and even when theh say its been cancelled they still charge you. No one answers phone calls. Avoid and go to a gym that knows how to treat its customers
Very difficult to cancel membership even though on a flexible plan.
No one is available to reply back to emails and phone calls.
And the person at the counter says membership is cancelled, but they will deduct money!
The new setting is purely bad. They take down all the wall and have a "one for all" area.
Not space to do anything. All equipment is packed closely together.
50% of the machine have yellow tape on it.
I miss the old Jetts.
24/7 clean and safe, I signed up yesterday and went today for the first time and there were 3 machines not working, only one out of order sign and no staff to tell them about the other 2.
Only just started here recently and it's helped me get so much closer towards my gym goals and for that I thank Jetts and Paul for helpin me out
