Zap Fitness 24/7 Everard Park

If you love working out in a clean well equipped environment, Zap fitness gyms should be your destination. The have gyms in almost all of the residential areas and most importantly helpful employees.

Poor customer service, customer care call centre never answers and always goes on voice mail to never hear back from them.
Trainers at Anzac highway are not helpful at all if you DO NOT take personal training lessons from them, not even say hello TBH, just totally ignore if you ask anything.
If I wasn't locked in year term I would have left by now. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ZAP FITNESS

Difficult access from south road, small and barely any toilets/showers and only a 1 visit free trial. Cheap for those reasons I assume

The advertised 24/7 access to the Everard Park Zap gym was suddenly terminated 3 weeks ago with no follow up communication from management. I’ve sent several emails with no reply. Exceptionally POOR customer service. Cant access the gym after 1pm on Fridays and Saturdays and closed Sundays. Not good enough for a gym supposedly guaranteed open 24/7 and there’s no end in sight to when it will be fixed! Strongly regret signing up for a 12 month contract on the understanding I could use THAT gym 24/7, which is the only reason I joined in the first place.

Everything is perfect.recommend gym for beginners.not a too big gym, with limited machines.not crowded is best part to join.

Worst customer service, they dont return voice messages and dont answer calls within their work hours - goes straight to voicemail.

I signed up for a 24 hour gym but they have been closed due to a 'power issue' for over 3 weeks, only operating during very limited staff hours. I understand these things happen from time to time but their customer service is non existent.

Charged me $15 a week after I thought I was no longer enrolled with Zap, after 300$ was taken I was notified and they refused to give any sort of compensation or refund for charging me without my knowledge. Do not go here other local gyms have better equipment/ better customer service

SA IS NOW ON HIGH ALERT, with the borders opening today to other states, this is not visible in Everard pk ZAP, with a lack of cross flow air within the work out area, vital for safe practice in this enviroment. Despite numerous requests from the members, a fan that provides this vital movement of air, has not been working for over 14 weeks. Plus the usual defective equipment that's not repaired unless veiwed in a reveiw.
Im sure they can do better, but just are'nt interested in there paying members.

I have been going to this gym for several years now, but since Zap took over, and moved in the maintenance and facilities have deteriated, I have reported matters of broken machines but there is no response, they only want your $ not concerned with the faulty machinery now out of order 3 weeks+

Again, I would like to post some photos to you. Please stop charging bills from my account anymore because One year contract had already done. As I said before I was one of your loyal customers who used to be joining in your gym nearly 4 years since Jetty. And I recommended my wife to join in, We moved to another gym because poor quality and quantity of equipments with lower maintenance. Please find recent email I sent to your customer service and membership management, then reply and confirm, don’t ignore my email please.

Nice place to workout, usually busy on evening.the main circuit breaker needs to be replaced. I nearly break my knee when running on trademill, as it stopped suddenly due to power failure.

My son has been trying to cancel his membership for 2 months now.
He only gets 20 mins for lunch during the day to call Customer service and was on hold today for 45 mins!
He has emailed numerous times and has received NO ANSWER!

Do yourself a favour. DON’T JOIN THIS GYM, YOU CANT CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP IF YOU NEED TO

I cancelled my membership 4 months ago and they’re still charging me. After many calls I’m not sure if they’ll stop charging me.

I can’t access gym after COVID19 may be my account is inactive and No one to attend phone call even calling during business hours.

One of the worst customer service, I have ever experience.

There is a trap of 30 day notice period in all type of membership, whenever we want to cancel our membership.

Just another pushy and predatory gym.

The gym immediately proceeded to use my emergency contacts information (My 60 year old mother) to push marketing.

They texted and contacted her using my name saying that I organised this for her and trying to organise her "2 day membership worth $30! "

When I went in to pick up my fob, I told them to remove her details and the guy tried to tell me "It's not marketing, we offer it complimentary! " trying to tell me it was for my benefit.

I told them to remove her details or cancel my membership, the first thing out of the guys mouth was that I would need to pay for 30 days on top of my free trial despite this never being mentioned in their terms.

Disgusting behavior and untrustworthy.

I have been going to this gym for several years now, but since Zap took over, and moved in the maintenance and facilities have deteriated, I have reported matters of broken machines but the staff person rolled her eyes, nothing has been done, they are not even tagged “defective” properly, you look around the gym and you see faults every where. NOT HAPPY.

Rude staff even after suspending the account money taken from the account when I went and spoke to the staff member he said he has done a favour of suspending my account for 12 weeks because according to there terms They can suspend my account for only 8 weeks horrible but they dint inform me when i was filling up the suspension form don’t trust these people any more and will never join them again

Staff are very helpful and friendly. They will always welcome feedback and listen to their customers by adding new equipment, changing to better layout.keeping it fresh. Namely Tara and Dave, you guys keep doing what you're doing. You have it so right.

Great location and fantastic equipment - the staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and not pretentious. The aircon could use some work but the fans do the job. Tara and Chris the personal trainers are extremely helpful and motivational - great if you are starting back at the gym and need that extra motivation!
