Zambrero Gawler

Love me some Zambies but every time I order on uberEATS from here they forget an item or I get the complete wrong order. Has happened half a dozen times now and I’m done ordering from them

Ordered online- order supposed to be ready at 2: 25pm. Wasn’t even started when I arrived.not much point ordering ahead!

I found zambrero in gawler to have nice clean food, quick service with a smile and chit chat, helpful when it came to recommendations as I've never had it before and wanted something that I'd enjoy as I wasn't shaw on the taste. A little expensive but its worth it.

One of the better zombreros around. Despite parking during the day (peak lunch and most saturdays) been hard to find a park

Food is good but service is sloooooow. You order online and get to the store when it tells you to and still have to wait for them to make your food after they have served everyone else

I come here so often and the last 2 months have been so disappointing in terms of wait times. Its so frustrating to see people walk around the back while no one serves customers. I waited half an hour last week.
Today is a friday at 3pm. There is one other customer and ive waited 10 mins. Im writting this as im waiting.

I can see people out the back.

Great food. Loved the mango salsa.
Service was doomy & gloomy like they weren't happy to be there. Made for an awkward moment. Again, great food!

Been going here for years, never disappoints. I like that there's not a huge amount noise and spacious seating for a party of 2 or a huge table for 10 people.

After waiting in store at times up to 40 minutes on occasion, I’ve decided to start using the Zambreros app in a bid to skip the lines. Sorry to say but the woes continue from this store and are getting worse. The last 3 times I’ve ordered through the app they’ve stuffed up my order. From missing sauces, skimping on what sauce was added, missing jalapeños to wrong ingredients; why is it so hard to read an order slip? Small mistakes can be forgiven but it’s becoming a habit from Zambreros Gawler. 3 times I’ve paid extra for an extra separate sauce and it’s never on there. In addition every time I order I’ll arrive 5 mins after receiving a notification saying my order is ready, and every single time they still haven’t started making my order. They then obviously rush the order and apologise for the wait. I understand peak times can be demanding but why notify people that somethings ready when it obviously isn’t? Just be honest, take your time and make it properly. I would have boycott this place if it wasn’t the only store in Gawler with potentially delicious burrito capabilities, so alas here I am. I don’t like to rant but it’s wearing thin Zambys!

Sent an email, and it was followed up within the hour!
This shows the integrity held by the staff at Gawler Zambrero’s, something not seen at many places anymore. I’ve never had a bad experience here and from reading many other reviews I’m not the only one!
Easily my favourite place to eat on the Gawler Main Street, with consistently friendly staff and great food. Can’t wait for my next burrito!
