Zambrero Blackwood

Zambreros is, in my opinion, one of the tastiest yet healthy takeaway food establishments in Blackwood. Zambreros ethos: “For every burrito or bowl purchased at Zambrero, a meal is donated to someone in need in the developing world via our Plate 4 Plate initiative;” shows great social conscience. I could happily eat a different meal from this store most nights. My personal favourite is the Burrito IQ. All Freshly made! Great management, staff and, service. I have not had anything but positive experiences here. I believe the menu was developed by a doctor (s.)

I’ve been dining with Zambrero since the first store in Adelaide opened almost 10 years ago and in that time I’ve visited many restaurants in the group, across all states, but since my first visit to the Blackwood store in Feb 2023, I’ve made it my dedicated store for my weekly Zambrero hit. All of the staff are super friendly and Peter the store manager has made myself and my friends all feel so welcome it’s like we’re part of the family, and we all look forward to our weekly visits. No other Zambrero stores in the country come close in comparison to the Blackwood experience with Peter and his team, and I’ll always go out of my way to visit the Blackwood store for that reason. More than 5 stars are needed to rate this store. ️️️️️️

Stingy and unaccommodating. I am dairy free and said no to cheese and sour cream and they wouldn't let me have a bit of extra salad instead! Portions of rice and beans are small. I had to upgrade to get more after seeing how small my dinner was going to be! Disappointing.not sure if it's new management since I were last there.

I came to pickup for Uber customers.there were 5 ppl working.no one bothered to ask me what I’m waiting for.after 25mins a guy came n asked me why I’m waiting.thanks for the experience.

Definitely one of the better Zambreros! I now choose this store over my local as the food is always fresh, prepared very well and you get exactly what you ask for

I love Zambreros but this location takes it to another level. The service is always friendly and inviting. The serving size is satisfying and worth every cent. Good customer service is unfortunately hard to come by but this business owned by Peter and his friendly team, show us what customer service should be. I am now a regular customer because when the staff are friendly and the food is satisfying I’m happy to spend my money. Highly recommend for a lunch or dinner, for two people it cost around $30 and you are definitely satisfied.

An excellent burrito with a good amount of food put into wrap, and that is the reason why I'm coming back here;)

I’ve eaten and loved a lot of Zambies but the worker who made my burrito today hit it out of the park. Top notch feed.

The last two times i’ve gone here, i’ve gotten a bowl, and the rice has been really dry and tastes different, to the point that it makes me be sick. I’m not sure if the food is being left out for too long, or if the recipes been changed, but now i’m not sure about the food safety here.

We love zembreros in Melbourne and tried out Blackwood. Taste out of this world the pulled pork burrito was really tasty followed by the nachos we couldn’t get enough. Staff were really helpful and their recommendations were spot on. Keep up the good work

Generous burritos but bit pricey if you have the guacamole. It's literally just a smear for $2.

I eat a lot of Zambrero's and I eat a lot from this location, because it is my local. If you enjoy/expect coriander on your Mexican food -especially from the trizego sauce- I would not recommend to go here! I often drive to Unley instead.
I am very suspicious that they do not use coriander in their trizego sauce and use basil instead. I also have a NUT ALLERGY and have had an allergic reaction on two occasions when ordering my burrito with the trizego sauce. I know that the basil sauce has nuts, so maybe there is a cross contamination since they seem to use basil in both! I definitely don't recommend this location's trizego sauce if you like coriander and/or have nut allergies like me.

Ordered a burrito tonight 23/7/22. The girl serving the customer behind me kept reaching over my beautiful unfolded lamb burrito, gracing it with the presence of her jumper numerous times. Please don't let this happen again. I do not like the taste of lint.

Love Zambies. Fresh ingredients, yummy flavours, vegetarian options, and not a long wait for your meal. The Blackwood staff are great!

Even though it was closing i felt bad for being the last customer they had to serve but their service was good with good quality food. Onion went a bit bad & tasted bitter but i would let it go as being the last customer this happens.

Have gone there heaps before and loved it. Had it last night for dinner and it gave me food poisoning. I wonder if anyone else had that experience if you ordered Thursday 21 April. Will probably not eat there again.

Was served by a young man on Sunday around 1pm and he was the most efficient and polite worker I’ve ever encountered! Lovely service especially considering how busy it was:)

Great bursitis and friendly service. The attendant even suggested which meat for my children because one of the meats was spicy.

Ordered uber eats from here and they stuffed up my order and i called them and they said that i have to come and get my order and there is no way that they can deliver it even though it was their fault, so i drove up and all they gave me was some chips on the side, no refund.
