Zambrero

Ordered online, came in at the specified time it said it would be ready. When I got there, a girl was serving another customer, so I went and waited at the other end of the counter to pick up my food. A guy comes out from the back and asks what can I get. I tell him I have an online order. He looks down at the receipt sitting in front of him and says let me just make that one for you. He then rushes through making it and gives it to me. Burritto was fine just undersized for what I had ordered.
The guy who served me has served me a few times before, he's always quite and I can barely hear when he asks me a question.

I just ordered a few tacos and a burrito from here and there was a teenager who served me who did a very poor job.
By this I mean he did not listen to what we were trying to ask him, he mashed all of the ingredients together without a care in the world, and as he was placing the finished tacos in the bag he tipped it upside down. When we opened it up and ate it the tacos had completely fallen apart and the burrito was not wrapped at all. Furthermore, as he was serving us he had a large bit of saliva dripping from his mouth which was especially off putting considering he was assembling our meals.
To top it all off my mother had a Zambreros stamp card which was completely filled out, entitling her to a free burrito. However, the teenager demanded that she pay for guacamole which I would assume was a part of the free burrito.
I payed $40 all together for my meal and feel like I should have at least had tacos which were assembled.
As someone who works in customer service, I was appalled by the service of this worker.

Really good Zambrero’s, amazingly fresh food! The burritos and bowls are always great. I personally recommend getting an IQ bowl, they are great and reasonably healthy! The atmosphere is great for such a small space. Great service and friendly people. Would recommend to anyone.

Great value for money, good food. I prefer if the place in Mt Barker city, had more space with tables so people can sit together.

Usually great service from here. This time not so much.literally the only person in the shop, no conversation and the listening skills on tgd person serving was not the best.having ro keep repeating myself. The wrapping of the burrito too.

Worst mexican food iv had, over priced and cold, bad attitude by staff, deff won't be going there agen wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I was served by a lass who still found it in her to be absolutely lovely, despite having just served a dude trying to cheap out and get his way more expensive burrito as his free one, rather than the standard one. 10/10 service!

Edit: I had to come back and add to my review that my burrito tonight was the best burrito I've ever eaten in my life. Granted, I was absolutely dying for a burrito, but holy heck this one was amazing!

I now eat here for fast food, rather than Macca's, hungries or KFC. WAY healthier and tastier!

I used to eat here once a week but after a while it put me in extreme financial trouble. I've had to sell all my assets and live on the streets for the past few months, times have been hard. I've been considering selling a kidney on the dark web to finance one or two more burritos. Anyway, great store, delicious and quick food that never gets old!

The customer service is bloody brilliant!
and they have a fantastic cause behind them, donating meals to people who are dying from starvation. Instead of McDonald's and KFC that increases your chances of having diabetes and high blood pressure, with them putting artificial preservatives to make the food's shelf life last longer and high amounts of salt and sugar.

Hopefully Zambreros can get to their goal of feeding 1 billion people by the year 2025.

Go and get yourself a burrito at zambreros to help their great cause and eat delicious food.

The staff are really friendly, the food is fresh and tasty. They have a lot of options for vegan, vegetarian and also if your just unable to eat gluten or dairy. Would return.

Absolutely loved my burrito, I got it about 5pm on Monday and got served by this cheerful young man. Definitely coming back soon!

Always great size and fresh. When I don't have any planned dinner at home, I grab a burrito as it's fast and healthy.

Excellent! I walked in the door 2 minutes before they closed, and they were still very courteous and made a great chokito!

Love Zambrero's and love going to Zambrero Mt Barker. Even when they are busy you still get your meal quickly and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking close by. There are plenty of food options in Mt Barker but Zambrero is my first choice.

On Monday 20th July around 6: 30pm when i had the worst experience at Zambreros Mt barker. There was two people in front of me in the line one was paying and the other still finishing their order. After the customer paid the girl just went straight out the back and started talking to another girl totally ignoring me for about 10 minutes and they obviously saw me there. The boy finished up with the other customer then came to me when i could've already been out of there. I thought this was unfair and not my usual standards when i usally get exceptional service here.

What fantastic service, she loved our humour and put up with our jest. She made a mean burrito and cracked some good jokes with us. She was well presented and honestly was far better than the zambreros service that I am used to in Brisbane. I wish more people took pleasure in their service like her. 10/10. Nancy, we’ll be seeing you again!

Really impressed with their high standards of cross contamination when it comes to their gluten free range. Also thought we’d compliment the young lad Jeremy (we think!) who made our burritos tonight. He was clearly still learning and just nailed it! Customer service and burrito making skill were impeccable. High five dude.
