Yumlicious Dumplings reviews
48Seems this place has changed hands again. My fav noodle dumpling place is back. Much better food. So yummy. I come her at least once a week. Good food keep it up guys.
Terrible service with terrible food.
Don’t waste your time or money with this charade.
Dreadful service -
The man was rude beyond belief to us. Food not that good either -
Avoid!
My family has been going here since 2013- over the years the service and quality of food has declined. Today I went in for some soup. I had a very long day at work and was sore from my neck down. I asked to dine in and the lady at the counter placed my food infront of me and then without even looking at me tells me cutlery is “up there” and I need to get it myself. I almost walked straight out of the store. Not to mention the food was so bland that I ended up getting something else from the bakery next door. To the girl at the register wearing pink: please find a new day job you’re obviously miserable and just like how you don’t want to deal with us, none of us want to deal with you either. Especially not after a long day when I am hoping to be served a nice meal.
The food is delicious, but the service is terrible, the three times I've been there the service has been bad. Grumpy attendants, it seems they are doing you a favor by selling.
Food is excellent, never change those vegetarian dumplings! Hygiene and customer service is lacking.
Really disappointing. Just go to Drake’s they actually care.
Ma Po Tofu is an Authentic Chinese dish from the province Sichuan which is famous for it’s spicy food. It’s disappointing to see a lack of appreciation for what has made dish great internationally. Is it ignorance or just laziness? Don’t go to this pale imitation of a Chinese restaurant with it’s misleading menus and low effort reception. The saddest thing, this place used to be really good.
Fortunately there’s another Chinese place that actually cares and is CHEAPER too. It’s in Drake’s.
Rude staff, long wait on food for dumplings that tasted microwaved. Cold on the outside hot in the middle in a plastic container all mashed together. Portion of sauce was a joke.
This place used to be amazing. I have been comming here for 6 years now and always good food. Went for dinner tonight. Customer service was non existent. I got grunted at 3 times. Not even a hello. The food has changed and is not the same. Pity. Time to find a new noodle bar.
Very hit or miss, some times good, sometimes bad, prices of everything increased by $2, not sure if worth going anymore due to quality consistency
I only gave a star just so I could write that I would never recommend anyone to have a meal from this place. The service was horrible the food was over price I had the chilli beef It had more onion than the chewy beef served 3 beans and 1 pickled chili on the plate with a tasteless bowl of steamed rice my mother had salt and pepper squid that was covered in over cooked batter and would have had more bounce in it than a superball nothing else on the plate at all. Not to mention that the both dishes were bought to the table 10 minutes apart no cutlery and we had to use our hand sanitizer and tissues to clean the table before we ate. I would have asked for our money back but the server couldn't understand a word I was saying after requesting our table be wiped and we needed napkins 3 times I would have been there all day trying to get a refund.
$38 Lesson learned
Dumplings ok, but everytime I try to order a few packs of frozen dumplings, the lady in the back gives you the evil eye and they treat you as if you are trying to rob the joint. The last straw was today, I asked for 6 packs of frozen dumplings, the girl at the counter turns to her miserable manager and they proceed to have a 2 minute argument in Chinese. The girl then turns to me and says “sorry we are sold out. ” There always seems to be a huge carry on everytime I try to buy frozen dumplings from them. Never again!
Absolutely awful, everything dry and overcooked, no flavour, no sauce
Yuk, will never order from there again, waste of $58
Business closed tills an hour early and refused to then take cash as a payment. Lost a customer, terrible customer service
Quality has really gone downhill. I used to eat from here often but the last 5 times have been really disappointing. Hope they can sort out whatever the problem is!
Prawns on broccoli & steamed rice, Special fried rice, Hot sour soup. Some of the best traditional food I have eaten. Absolutely beautiful.
Don't waist your time or money.
Crispy chicken, 10mm thick and 2/3rds was batter, 1 hands size piece of thin chicken on rice, $13 for white rice.
Pork dumplings. Steamed (microwaved).
Pretty disappointed.
Have been eating at this place for years never had any complaints
most recently will not return
Savoury chilli chicken dry no sauce burnt uneatable
This rating is not about food as I haven’t eaten here yet. However, my daughter had a public transport mishap and ended up here, lost and with a dead phone. The owner helped out, lent a phone and followed up with me after my daughter managed to leave her metrocard behind. 5 star help in my books! Thank you.
Don’t often leave a review as I don’t often find myself in this situation, All I can say is, Don’t do it.
