Younger Asian Grocery reviews
41Rude cashier, bought two Kiwi knives and politely asked if they could be wrapped as the plastic bag wouldn’t last, which was rudely refused. A few steps after leaving the shop one of the knives almost cut through the bag, which could potentially stab my foot.
Clean and has lots of variety.
However, be aware of the price. They charge ridiculous amount for their items likes sauces that are available at Coles or Wollies. For example, oyster sauce 500gr is $9, whereas you can get it for $5 at Wollies.
Some of us don’t bother checking the price as it is a ‘speciality’ shop. But please be aware. They also charge me 10 or 20 cents for plastic bags even if you dont use any bags they provide. Check your receipt!
This small Asian grocery store has a large variety of food items for sale, ranging from instant noodles and a plentiful selection of spices to frozen vegetables, seafood, and meat. Please be mindful to check the 'best before' date; that's the one you need to watch out for. Other than that, it's a good store.
My to go store for Asian food/spices. Wide range of varieties across different Asian countries.
这个店原来还可以 现在特拉胯 专坑人 超级贵 很多东西很多快过期 一个泡菜比旁边wollis贵几倍 谁去谁傻子 So expensive and many things close to due date. Kimchi is few times more expensive than wollis. Treat customers as a monkey. It is recommended to check they pay staff in legal pay or not
Has a huge variety of Asian dry goods. Lots of teas and ready mix coffee sachets. Has enough fresh Asian greens and well stocked frozen items.
It doesn’t have a butcher section like many other Asian supermarkets.
The prices are clearly labelled.
Very clean store, staff are friendly.
Very good place! Customer service was awesome, So much variety and things I've been wanting to try there (self heating foods, FRESH turmeric, ramune.) There's a pretty large instant ramen shelf, snacks, drinks, frozen foods and seasonings. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area
A modern Asian grocery where the veggies are nicely packaged and the location inside a busy shopping centre reflects on the prices.
Went in had a look and walked out.
Very well arranged, various stuffs by each sections, friendly clerks and clean tidy
On behalf of visitors from mideast asia, I’d say It’s definitey worth a visit!
Really handy location and good range.
But. I did my small shop, about $14 worth then went back less than 5 mins later to buy 2 bags of bean sprouts which I had forgotten. As the total came to less than $5 and I was using EFTPOS, I offered to pay a surcharge. I was (very politely) told no, I had to buy more items as there is a five dollar minimum for card. Did I need more vegetables? Nope, I’d just done my shop with them and I was good.
In the end, had to leave my purchase as there was no way under the $5 minimum, though I had just spent more than this with them.
Disappointed, and seems a little odd… are others not carrying cash and have been caught out too?
Oh well.
I find it a bit hard when they talking to themselves in their own language and ignore you you can't get through the aisles because of all the boxes that they are unpacking and can't find what you looking for apart from that VG
Amazing place for shopping Asian groceries. Despite Mainlanders owned, they kept lots of Singapore Malaysian and even Filipino food items too.
Not too far from my place, so that saves me trips to the old hangouts in the CBD.
Prices slightly cheaper than those city stores too.
Fantastic shop. It was like being on holidays in China again. Wonderful selection of frozen and fresh foods.
1. All the groceries here are apparently much more expensive than other Asian groceries in Adelaide.
2. Selling expired food at normal price as normal food.
Basically a place can get everything of Asian stuffs. But a bit pricey as you don't have to travel all the way to Days road.
Excellent prices. Had everything we needed to make some good homemade dumplings. Seemingly endless stock, I am sure if I needed it they would have it.
The woman is very rude and unpleasant.
I totally agree to the comment below "rubbish customer service"
Rubbish customer service. I saw one of the staff yelling at customer the other day and
i believe she is not owner. Most time they are rude anyway.
A huge store with a wide selection of products including fresh vegetables, frozen seafood, drinks and and freshly cooked meats. Any Asian ingredients you need will be here! I will definitely be coming back to this store regularly.
This is a really great little Asian grocery store, with a great mix of fruit and veg, frozen and packaged foods.
