Ying Chow Chinese Restaurant reviews
63WARNING - call the health Inspector. Have a good look at the kitchen when you walk by to the toilet, filthy back of house. Service is terrible, staff care factor is zero
Seriously this place must pay people for reviews. The food is disgusting. Dodgy at best and overcooked to the extreme.
Fast service and good food. I was there on a relatively busy night and although the staff were friendly but they were a bit rushed to take the dishes and stuff while we were kinda still eating, which is understandable on a busy night but nevertheless it's a negative.reasonable prices.
Good atmosphere but the food was very unexciting and overpriced. Would try elsewhere before returning here.
Always great food. Quick from order to table and reasonably priced. Bring your own wine or order from a variety of beverages at the table.
Time and time again this place is amazing and the staff are so friendly.
We love coming to Ying Chow
Great food and Service. Very reasonable prices. Best thing about this restaurant is that it's open till 1am.
Yummy Chinese food at a great price. Premium tea smoked duck was delicious. Only knock is the entrees we're served after the main meals.
Cheap and cheerful Chinese was delicious. We rolled in at 12: 30 am on a Thursday night and didn't get turned away. Super friendly staff.
This place open till 1 AM at midnight. I like this fact as more of restaurants at adelaide close by 9 PM. I worked at evening so this place is a life saver for hungry people like me who works at night. The foods are very cheap too and tasty also. It's a good place for students. You can have mouth full of food at very cheap rate.
Overall a thoroughly disappointing experience. Got a variety of dishes stand by dishes from the menu such as fried dim sum and crispy skin chicken which were all the worst carnations of the meals we had ever eaten. Beyond that the 'steamed duck with salty sauce' was without a doubt the worst meal I have ever been served in a restaurant, a unbelievably grey, unappetising piece of meat that was as extremely tough with an extremely unpleasant flavour.
If you're hungry late at night in Adelaide City and you want a quick but delicious fix, this is THE place o go to. They serve simple yet nice Chinese food quite quickly.
Be careful to remember to pay for the parking behind the establishment via a smartphone application. The parking facility is owned by another establishment.
Food is yummy and authentic. It is very cheap and cheerful and they don’t partner with a delivery service which is a pain as pick up is challenging due to lack of parking. Sensational vegetarian options and really Devine flavors. Used to be far cheaper but prices have increased. It’s still my must have meal when I’m out of Adelaide for a long time and then return.
You don't come here for the service, you come for the food. If you come here and don't order the shallot cakes, You're doing it wrong.
Just the best shallot pancakes and pretty much everything else on the menu is awesome. Never more than $30 each for a feast, it’s a Gouger Street institution
This place has one of the most beautiful tasting salt and pepper tofu as well as delicious Chinese green vegetables. I make it a weekly date place with my partner and we love the friendly staff!
What a gem, do your self a favor and try this authentic friendly spot. Great staff n great food. Try the salt n pepper flounder it's yum!
Efficient and fast service. Good food and open late. Only downside is it's very busy and therefore can be noisy and a little crowded. But overall it's great if you just want to stop in for a quick feed:)
An Adelaide staple. Start with a tsing tao and shallot pancake, then move into eshan chicken and BBC. Wine list and BYO with corkage. Great value, tasty and open late. Prepare to wait for a table on weekend nights.
The food is so good here. The service is awesome too. I ordered a bottle of wine and it was perfect.
