PLEASE READ. I was told to do an activity to fulfill my 6 month activity requirement, they recommended a white card and I did it.
Next meeting I was told that wasn't enough, even though the first time, I was told it was enough.
They kept trying to put me into several courses to fulfill my requirement, and I only need one, which I find strange.
I called the providers of these courses and asked if Workskill get incentive for putting me into these courses and every one of them said "Yes, they're trying to get you in because they get rewarded, that's why they're trying soo hard to make you do it"

I called the manager of Work Skill Modbury to see if she could approve my library and council work as my activity. She said no and demanded I do courses. I said "It sounds like you're given incentive to put me in a course", and she denied such a thing exists. I hung up the phone frustrated that the literal manager was lying straight to my face. I joke you not, 2 seconds later I get a call back, on my second phone. She literally had my other number on speed dial as though she goes through this all the time.
She said "We must have been disconnected"
I said "No, I hung up because I refuse to be lied to by location manager of Workskil"
She got hostile and demanded that they don't get any incentive from the course providers"
I told her that I asked multiple of the course providers if she does get incentives and they told me yes, and she went quiet as though caught off guard that someone jobless would go to such efforts to understand the process. She continued to deny that they get incentives and became and defensive, then practically hung up on me when I was still talking to her.

Now, perhaps there was a breakdown in communication somewhere, regardless, I feel like It was not handled professionally. They don't tell you things like "Just do the minimum of 75 hours over two reporting period and then quit the course" No, they want you to waste your time completing courses for reasons that seem suspicious and they should just tell it as it is, not act like a girlfriend caught cheating who denies it.

Also notice how the rebrand every few years? That's so they can get rid of evidence such at this against them, as the reviews will be deleted when rebranded with fresh 5 star reviews.

Overall, it would be fair to say the facilities were professional and accessible with public transit close by. Friendly and courteous staffing. If I were to make a recommendation it would include COVID cleaning of the public access computers after individual use.

Joke of a job search provider who constantly harassed me, find yourself you’re own job they want a piece of the pie with bonuses and demand you show payslips, even if you meet all obligations will suspend your pay because you didn’t tell them your hour rate (sorry that’s between me, my boss and the ato not a private company contracted) they call during work hours then suspend your benefits because you didn’t answer due to work. Nothing but harassment calls and emails from them.

My older friend is a job seeker at work Skil Modbury has had 3 case managers already to help her look for work the new one has stuffed her around with referrals, and phone calls, and the reception there expect her to have mobile data on her pH too to do Q R codes she can't afford that, workskil don't pay for it.she has enough bills and the food to pay for, she has a medical condition and have to look after older people in the family

Don't waste your time. You'll regret it when you're still waiting for any sort of help after nearly a year and realise they haven't done a thing to assist. They are great at adding extra stress and problems tho. I've had between 4 and 6 different job agents from the same place and none have assisted but all say they have jobs for me but never hear back, and my resume is great and you'll have no problem getting a job. A bunch of yes people who say anything to make out like they are helping but after nearly a year of the same stuff being said and still no job or even an interview through them I have lost all hope for them to help.

I have found Tanya D fantastic with my son, couldn't be more helpful so our experience so far has been great 3rd time lucky as other agencies didn't even get my son an interview in 10 months, Tanya got him one within 2 or 3 weeks after a lot of messing around with Centrelink which she helped us with so no complaints here.

Such an idiot staff.it’s been more than 9 months since I’m with them but never help me with anything and on top of that they behave extremely rudely. I wouldn’t give them even ZERO star for their service.very disappointed.

Just going there has aged me. Bloody awful they way we aged people are treated. Just trying/waiting to get my pension card has been on going since May.

Had 3 scheduled appointments but because I had to get to my current workplace after waiting nearly 45 minutes each time had to leave. Yet to meet my consultant who I'm convinced doesn't exist. All over an 8 month period. Useless dont bother!

Terrible, did nothing to help me find work, the interviewer said they could maybe help me to do some training courses and would let me know, never did, tried phoning, never returned my call. Someone was supposed to call today, 4 September for my phone appointment, never did. Very disappointed, felt like they wasted my time, would not recommend workskil, Modbury.
