Woolworths Northgate

Out of date bread and would not replace a bag for us that's strap broke as we were leaving with our groceries. Very poor customer service. Prices are also at least 1-2 dollars more than they were a couple months ago.

Range was ok but not nearly as much choice as that found at Gilles Plains and Walkerville.
Since Covid-19 arrived, the availability of essential toiletry items is nothing short of pathetic when compared to Coles at Greenacres. Woolworths staff are friendly but product range and availability is poor. Thanks Coles for simple essential and cleaning items. Woolworths, you need to lift your game.

Supply of essential items has definitely improved.

Online department are on hips to serve the pickups while others departments i.e bakery, grocery, fruit, deli have wide range of options to select with and front team with youth and experienced are always happy to serve the customer.

Very slow service, 2 checkouts closing upon arrival. One checkout lady closed, then preceded to look on her phone for around 5 mins, chatting to the lady who I was waiting for. Unprofessional look. Checkout lady very slow to scan items, took too long to exit the store. Very frustrating to not have enough people serving. 2 people waiting after me with full trolleys. Bakery section terrible, limited selections & hardly anything baked on site. Looking forward to drakes opening across the road

My local Woolworths, but today was my last visit. Consistently poor management of checkout staff. Usually only one checkout open and refuse to open another checkout, even with 2 or 3 people waiting with full carts. Today's trick was to put the least experienced, slowest checkout guy there, which makes it even slower. If it was a one-off, I'd consider going back. It's happened too often. Looking forward to a new supermarket opening across the road.

I enjoyed shopping had wide variety at Northgate I found everything I needed in stock the staff are friendly see to all your needs good guidance

The amount of times i have gone to this Woolies to get a coffee prior to doing my shopping only you find the area is closed. If they are going to have a cafe the least they could do is ensure its open. Everytime this has happened (and it's been quite often) I've turned around and gone to Coles. Not happy.

I’ve tried calling 11 times tonight to give you guys a heads up I was stuck and work and couldn’t collect my click and collect and was trying to arrange to pick up tomorrow but no one answered any of the calls so thought this might suffice.

Young lad working late tonight at the direct to boot was brilliant. Friendly, engaging and enthusiastic, management would be wise to keep an eye on him for support and career progression as this is the type of people that will see Woolies succeed and he should be rewarded and praised for doing a stellar job! Very personable young lad doing a great job A+

This store would have to be the laziest of all, every morning it does not open on time only by a couple of minutes, staff standing around newspapers not ready, have been coming since day one, used to be the best.

Store itself is laid out well, and most workers are approachable and helpful. 3 stars is for the deli, I asked for garlic kievs, I didn't realise until 7pm this Saturday (after trading hours) that I was sold roast chicken kievs which I absolutely do not like. Had to make something else for dinner tonight, not happy about it.

Today 10th of February 2022 at 11: 35am at express checkout rude and unpleasant Worker (blond Lady)
after my question forward to young male worker told me off. For over 15 years I was shopping at this Woolworths store and in the past two years it’s worst and worst with management staff to deal with at any level. Staff in store witch do work for long time are really excellent and hard working people, but new staff employed for past two-three years they need to use manners if they have any.
I will need to say goodbye to Woolworths, Hi to Coles and Aldi.
P. S.vegetables should be first grade, no second or third what you have now.
Also stop moving items on the shelf, it’s not about where to put items in the store it’s about service that you can offer.

Ok prices and good variety of products. I'm very happy to be able to get the hot chicken wings and packs.you can't get them at Coles.good and friendly staff at Deli section.always happy to drop in Woolworth at Northgate SA

I have now stopped going here for my weekly shopping as it seems to be each week items are moved around and it is frustrating to find particular things. The narrowing of the aisles was the big deal breaker for me to no longer shopping there. It’s very crowded and difficult to navigate a trolley through the store.

Very well set up, there is always checkouts open and the checkout operator Madi was exceptionally helpful.

Was served by a young man named Tom who packed my bags with elegance and grace, however he somehow managed to spill dishwashing liquid over my hands which I am allergic to. My hands came out in a nasty red rash but it is okay because the rest of the bags were packed to perfection. Keep it up woollies

Not really Woolworths fault, but there was nothing on the shelves. People were not using their brains and panic buying again due to a lockdown.

Great for milk and bread! Thier pre pack chicken is always smelly, bad attitude is the normal from most workers, some even argue with you!
Slow checkout service or No checkout service! And yet I still go there weekly after 10yrs.
If doing a bigger shop or after more variety,
Coles at greenacres is the place to go.

Local shopping centre. Helpful staff and presentation is great. Great team ensuring everyone is COVID safe
