Woolworths Mt Barker

Why do they only offer 2 out of 8 self serve machines that take CASH? So those customers wanting to use cash have to wait sometimes 5 minutes in a queue for these machines. ALL of your self serve machines should take cash as payment.

Generally we use Woolies for all our food shopping. Their home brand products are good quality and for many things we use them saving heaps. Then their specials, like fruit loaf are often great and again good.
We use the reward program and so usually shop for fuel at the Woolies servos, which is close at Mount Barker.
The range at Mount Barker is awesome, rarely fail to find what we want. And we know the store.
Their staff are friendly but generally go about their work unnoticed.
Their deli could expand their range but it is fairly good really.

Nice selection of fresh fruit and vegetable and same with the bakery goods.
Clean store with long opening hours.

Good social distancing and mask compliance. Good availability of QR codes and trolley wipes. #COVID-19

Very busy although you can usually get a car park nearby most of the time. Well laid out and you can usually get every thing you want easily.

On the 24/07/2021 I had a crash on the freeway going home. I was told by sapol that you were open till 9 or 10pm can't remember exactly.
After sapol dropped me off I walked around a little and started talking to the staff member who was on the self service check out. I was still in shock. I can't thank her enough for chatting with me while I waited to get picked up.
Talking about what happened has done the world for me and again from the bottom of my heart

Chicken Kiev are on special at half price in the deli, sizing is matching the price.on the left us one I still have in the freezer and the right is the one purchased today

Yup, it's a supermarket. If you're visiting the area it's probably your best pick for convenience and getting everything you need in one place.
Undercover parking (across the road), soft plastics return, a good selection, and staff who are always happy to help.

Somtimes staff are to busy talking to each other rather then helping customers. For example 3 staff were in a group having a chat they had looked at me standing there, and made me qait untill they finished talking to ask what i needed

Excellent. Glad to see prices are not way high just because of Burnside. Staff nice. Live in the hills so this was a lovely change.

Just don't sell fresh produce please. It's terrible every time. Especially avocados, over months they are just the worst, somehow foodland and other places have fresh ones at the same time.

Great service continues. More recently I have noticed a larger range of products for diabetics and coeliac keep up the great service it's lovely to see smiling faces and friendly staff.

Has good range of products central to everything in Mt Barker.
Most staff are very helpful parking is also across the road in covered car park.

Parking is some times difficult for invilid as people without permits park in these spots regularly

Unhappy with my Direct to Boot order. Very green & hard tomatoes, mouldy oranges and two bags of mandarins that only consisted of about 5 good ones, the rest were very soft and inedible. The chicken was almost out of date so had to use straight away. I think their policy for click and collect is to use up the fruit and veg and meat that no body wants when shopping in store, and rip off Direct to boot orders. Not a happy customer and feel like they took my money and gave me their scraps.

Good size store and normally well stocked. Really good meat from the butcher section and great Japanese food from the little stall inside.

Haven't been out for a few weeks found everything and more that I needed, then I had a great coffee and toasted sandwich.
Lady making coffee and sandwiches was very nice and helpful.
