Woolworths Marden reviews
37Prices are slowly rising, SHAME on Woolis NOT WANTING to sell Australia day memorabilia this year. Remember - GO WOKE, GO BROKE.
On average only 1 check out open out of 6. For full trolley shoppers, go elsewhere, unless your happy with your produce defrosting or worse for 20mins+ while you wait. This store is an example of poor people management at it finest.
I have been ordering groceries online since the early days of the Covid pandemic, and the staff have been absolutely fantastic. They always recognize me when I come to the front desk, which is very reassuring. The only issue I have is that they could take a bit more care when packing my order into bags, but other than that I have no complaints.
Bought my stuff, paid for it and left. No one offered to give me a massage or any thing like that.
Xmas Eve! Last minute shop for fresh berries.
Crowded of course but staff are still cheerful and helpful. Pleased to see fruit and veg prices not bumped up for Xmas.
One of the main reasons I bus down to Marden Shopping Centre from time to time besides the butchers is Woolies and it has some items my local shop doesn't.
Dropped into Woolies as the chemist was closed and saved money on painkillers. Thanks Woolies!
I was so disappointed that many fruit and veg sources are from overseas. You cannot advertise Aussie First sourcing when simple things like oranges and mandarins are arriving from Israel and America.
One of the best woolies around. I try to come here when I'm around this area as I don't live on this side of town. Always come away a shopping trolley full.
This Woolworths shop recently had a POSITIVE case of covid from a staff member and they did not let the public know. Also, their running adds telling the public to wear masks yet i saw and photographed 2 staff members WITHOUT masks.
Woollies are great, they have just about everything at good prices we shop all around but Woolies are bigger and better. Woollies leaves (down down) for dead.
Went there today always do groceries day always go to woolworths happy service you get there all friendly.and willing to have a chat while they are seeing to your order.
Great prices and friendly staff, what is appreciated by me is the staff are knowledgeable and helpful
The Night-fill staff I have have known for quite a while now as a regular and they do an amazing job with setting up the store for the next day. Good on them!
Visit this store twice a week as we live next door.
Bought a pack of chicken drumstick expires on 30 aug, but smelled way off - most disgusting chicken i ever smelled.
Brought this back to store and recommended to check the fridge temp as this properly due to the wrong temp setup and was told we were unlucky and got the umlucky pack.
Good luck.
Worst ever. Have lived in multiple states and this is worst stocked store I have ever shopped at. No kettle cleaner, staff won't have another store send it here. Very unhelpful, very unco-operative. So much for helping the customer.
I've been going to the Marden Shopping Centre since I was posted back to South Australia in 2009. It has changed in every way you could think of since then, and I still believe it is one of the Best Local Shopping Centres in Suburban Australia. All the locals find it a great place to meet and catch up. The majority of the retail shops are still there and the staff are very welcoming, friendly, polite and extremely helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit not only to the New Marden Shopping Centre, but also to the Suburbs that surround Marden. There is so much rich & sometimes hidden history as well as some amazing local highlights and attractions.
Woolies is located near the back of the Marden shopping complex. It if found on the corner of Portrush Rd + Payneham Rd. Woolies has ready access to the carpark, in part undercover. Happy shopping!
A nice clean store, not huge, but has plenty of grocery items to chose from. Love their deli section, the counters aren't too high. Their roast pork is simply divine, not overcooked and dry, like the Tea Tree Plaza Store.
