Woolworths Brighton reviews
60Nice place and staff, but there prices are not as cheap as most other supermarkets around.
This store has everything including toilets. Parking underneath and access by a travelator into the complex.
Its Brighton. They have the broccoli on beds of crushed ice if you dont mind. Even their trollys are fancy
The checkout attendant Sam who was in today (Sunday 27) was absolutely awesome! Great service in general.
Woollies like all of them.giving 3 stars as i absolutely hate being brutally hassled by people seeking donations at the top of the travelators.totally ruins the shopping experience and makes me feel like im in Bali
All good slightly pricier than other competitors but convenience and card offer made for a viable shop.
Woolworths are losing their mojo.
I checked their website to make sure they had the item i needed thankfully they had it in store.
When I arrived no more than 8 minutes later, nill stock.
What a waste of time.
COLES FROM NOW ON
Nice clean store.
2nd level is the shop with ample parking (unless it's the week before Christmas)
A great place to shop, friendly staff, plenty of choice as to products, fresh bread, cakes salads etc. Underneath parking a bonus.
Terrible experience there tonight! No prices on shelves for key items, rude staff tried to push me out of the way with their stock trolley whilst I was still looking in the fridge section and then I get to the checkout and there’s one cashier with 5 people lined up to be served by them. I nearly left my full trolley there and went elsewhere!
Always good shopping at Woolies. Competitive pricing and food is always fresh.
Always so many items at 50% discount. Its really helpful to those on low incomes or pensions. Thank you Woolies!
Always tend to go shopping here prefer this then going to Marion ideally located staff are very friendly great customer service
The staff were so friendly I had a my baby with me & the cashier put my shopping in my trolley to help me out
I have worked in retail for the better half of ten years and within those ten years I have never encountered someone so nasty or rude as I had this morning. I was served by an older woman with gray hair at the service desk, after simply asking for change for a $50 note (something myself and my coworkers do often as we work in close proximity to the store and have never had any issues before) she proceeded to make snarky, inappropriate and antagonistic comments. Her attitude was nothing short of disgusting, I am honestly in shock with how she responded. The way she decided to handle the situation was questionable to say the least. I would be deeply ashamed that such a person not only works for my company but is the face of it.
First time on Brighton store. Narrow aisles but impressive fresh food, bakery, meat and deli counters
Opened in 2019 this was the first store in SA to have the next-gen design with the carpark underneath, making it so convenient that it's now our regular weekly store. It even has a customer bathroom you can access mid-shop, if you've ever had to abandon a trolley to leave a supermarket and drag a hopping kid through a mall you'll know this is a game changer. The store is compact in design but somehow still feels spacious. It has a huge fresh groceries section. It's well-run, well-stocked and always clean.
PS - if you're a big user of click-and-collect this is perhaps not your store. The dark carpark makes it hard to check your items. And though we've only used it rarely there's been mistakes every time. The time you spend trying to check items and then getting your order fixed up you may as well duck upstairs and shop yourself!
Today 2nd March, I had to run to my local Woolworths earlier to buy a new adapter for my phone. As my phone had died because it wasn’t charged I wasn’t able to use my phone to transfer money to use my card. A lady by the name of Susie who worked there assisted me in locating the adapter, when I asked how much it was $32 she advised I emptied my purse, saying I don’t normally carry any cash these days. I had $31.55 she automatically said I’ll pay for it & lend me to the terminal to process it when I handed her the cash. I had to advise work urgently I wasn’t well & couldn’t go into the office today. I want Susie to be recognised for such kindness & thoughtfulness to a stranger in my time of need. I valued her exemplary customer service & kindness. I live locally in Brighton & have told my neighbours of my experience today. I will not forget Susie she made my faith in people so beautiful. Thank you Susie
Great variety in comparison to Coles, but don't like walking all the way through the entire shop just to get milk?
Had what I went for and bought a couple of things I haven't seen before. Parking could be an issue as there's not a huge amount of spaces available.
After calling various other stores who did not pick up the phone, the Brighton store did. I was greeted by poor customer service via the unwillingness to check if they had an item in stock: poor, poor customer service.
