Woolshed Cave reviews
52Road in is ok and the walk around the rocks is really beautiful leave some time to explore and appreciate.
Perfect to spend an hour wondering around. Maybe a picnic. Stunning formations. Free Campground as well with fire pits next to huge dunes, we didnt stay but we might next time. (just 4 spot available)
Great spot to visit. The road has slight corrugations for the motor home but 4x4s won't notice. Worth the 7km drive in and short walk down three flights of stairs.
This is worth the trip. We did sun set. It was amazing. The road in is ok. Most cars will do it.
Gorgeous. You have got to get inside and look out. Sensational. Highly recommend taking the time to see it.
Another great part of our Aussie coastline. Pictures cannot show the splendour for this, or any of our amazing country. Get out and see it!
What a wonderful experience it was walking down and into the woodshed cave. The surrounding rock formations were amazing.
Needs garbage bins along the way, lovely spot, it was too rough to go fishing/diving when I went through. I imagine it would be wonderful though
Really enjoyed exploring this area. To get to the cave decend the wooden steps to the rocks and it is on the left. Its an easy walk but the cave walls are sandy and easy to slip on so wear good shoes. We went low tide but suggest mid as high tide is to late. Also the view from the top of the cliffs is very cool
Great views and water colours. Walk right into the cave for the return window view. Just beautiful views.
Was a wild and windy on the day we visited. The sea was crashing on the rocks and the wind was wild. So we were cautious while looking around. Worth the visit.
This is worth the stopover not just for the cave but for the views of the outreaching ocean. One cannot venture into the cave unless you wish to risk a freak wave coming in to sweep you away. I think that there is the odd spot to put the togs on to have a dip as well. And whilst in the area look out for The Tub. The Tub is situated a little further down the dirt road. Enjoy the views as well. Just great views.
Such a beautiful natural area. Spectacular sea views from up the top and one you get down to the cave the rocks are beautiful.
One of the best stops on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula - the cave itself is magnificent but the surrounding landscape and rockpools elevate it to a whole other level.
From the moment you head down the well constructed stairs you will be blown away.
Just stunning.
Explore the outside area and you will find some very cool rockpools.
Amazing location and scenery from inside these caves. Would highly recommend this spot for a stop on a road trip passing through this area
Beautiful place. 12 Km drive from the road in Thalia Road. Gravel road but still not a bad drive.
Liked the remote beauty rock pools with a different surprise in each pool.
With the beauty comes a sense of danger around certain areas.
Well worth a visit
Amazing caves and geology. Was doubtful about visiting but once there it was amazing and well worth the drive to get here.
Well worth a stop, but it's not fantastic. The drive is pretty lite on with interesting sights an this is one of the better stops. It had a good staircase that felt safe. Recommended
