Used to come here when i was young, went today 25 years on and the burger is still as good as it was back then. A proper burger tasy patty, not oily etc original owner still working there and makes an incredible burger. One of the last original fish and chip shops getting around.

We just bought some fish and chips for lunch from here very well cooked not greasy fish, batter was nice too, chips were fantastic very good food all around

Fish burger & yiros were purchased, both really good value and tasty.
Also got to sample the chips and they were surprisingly crunchy, a little overseasoned for my tastebuds but enjoyable nonetheless.
To echo another reviewer some kind of meal deal option would be an improvement, would've bought my burger with chips and a drink had there been been advertised offer. Great selection of drinks available however there were no prices so I didn't try any.

Food was great but the attitude of 1 of the sons left a bad taste in my mouth.
He really didn't want me there.

It's a store that uses clean oil. I can tell right away from the food. The taste is the best, too

Chips were too oily, fish was OK.
Would be nice if there were some good deals like if you spend over forty dollars you can get a free bottle of soft drink. This place isn't for me I'm afraid.

Friendly customer service. Eftpos available. Butterfish was ok, flesh mine n flaky but batter too soggy. Hand cut chips were 9/10, full marks if more consistent in crunchy texture.

Excellent service with a big order. Good turn around time, seeing I ordered at the counter. Best hot chips we've had for a while
