Woodhouse Activity Centre reviews
43Absolutely the best day ever! Outside in the beautiful surroundings, Tube Slides, obstacles, a maze and so much else. Add in some amazing staff and you're guaranteed a great day of family fun. Can't wait to come back and stay
Our son was wanting to try camping and this was a perfect first trip. We booked a bell tent which came with BBQ and a selection of camping basics. My son had the best time. The facilities at the park gave a good variety of activities to do with our day. The price was great value for money.
The kids loved every minute we were there so did we we felt like kids again, running around in the maze after the boys almost getting rained on it was so fantastic we look forward to going there again some time! Ps my son loves the tube slide!
The cubs and Joeys from Kidman park had an amazing time at Woodhouse on the weekend. Even with the wind and rain. Plenty of activities to do no matter the weather. We even made the news paper! See scouts do it all! Thanks for having us!
We would like to THANK all the staff at Woodhouse for helping us with hosting daughter's 10th birthday party. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the time and have wonderful memories of the day. Thank you for guiding us from the start of booking process with recommendations as well.
Much appreciated
Fantastic camp sites with great facilities, including usb charging points in the camp kitchen. Challenge Hill was awesome fun, and definitely challenging! Will be coming back again for longer stay next time.
So much to do on weekends camping was lovely great kitchen areas only down side is that not everything is Open school holidays during the week and i think they should be as a lot of parents can get a week day of easier then weekends
Very good place for camping or spending the day. The park has many adventures for kids/adults.
There are 10 min walk or a 2 min drive between activities.
The big slide (one the main activities) opens only on the weekend until 3 pm only so make sure you arrive before it closes.
If you want to play Discgolf, you will need to collect the discs at the reception.
There is no food/drinks in the park so better come prepared, closest restaurant is 6 min drive from the park entrance.
My son goes here for his OT camps. He loves Challenge Hill, they even got photos and videos of a koala. The dorms are awesome and a shower as well. Great place, they do Scouts too.
Lovely place. We stayed in the cabins Stephenson and Hanson. Stephenson's kitchen is better but Hanson's has a bigger table which matters if you are sharing. Tubes slides are always a favourite.
This place is one of the best things that I love about Scouts! Adelaide people are so very lucky to have this jewel so close to where they live!
Even with the rain it was a great time had, exploring the pine forest and indoor climbing wall. During breaks in the rain, it was enjoying the tube slide and doing Challenge Hill / labyrinth which were a big hit.
Went here for a day of fun with the family and it turned out to be one of the best day trips ever.lots of fun activities like tube sliding, Challenge Hill, disc golf and orienteering. Definitely recommend doing with younger family members. Some activities are difficult for taller people.
What a fantastic way to spend a day in the outdoors. There is something for everyone here and plenty of decent obstacles to challenge everyone. I would recommend good comfortable footwear and ensure you are stable under foot as some surfaces will test even the most sure footed.
Cheap place to camp for a few days. Facilities are good. Weather not so good in Lofty Ranges in May for camping.
Good for bit older kids and teenagers also Adults. There are some fun activities in their extended property with a very nice local produce nibbles pack very well gathered. Friendly staff and national habitat where we found a wild Koala at the property. Nice picnic locations are available for visitors and camping sites available if booked in advance. Nice place to come with your active kids and spend a day of fun activities.
Great day outdoor fun fresh air surrounding you with hill side Australian landscapes with physical activities
First time we have been to Woodhouse and my 3 kids aged 14.8 & 6 absolutely loved it!
Highly recommended especially for active kids!
Great place for kids and adults to enjoy a real variety of activities in a beautiful part of the world
We had a great time with kids there in the Challenge Hill. The only thing l didn't totally like is that it was super hot day and it would be easier if we could get water along the way (there was water only in the end of the track).
