Baffles me how this joint actually sleeps at night. I kind of honestly think unprofessional-abuser-enablers is a good way to say how this place runs. Agree with Mal's review. Rude, disgraceful in my personal opinion and in that vein, actively seek to complicate and wreck lives instead of seeking a respectful resolution. Must do better.

A good suggestion would be to state how long the call would go for so expectations are set at the start.

Assisting the abusive and mentally ill female "they call a victim" and destroying the non abusive father life.but there here to help the victims.they aren't helping the victims there aiding the abuser in this instance.

Bulldogs in heels and lipstick.

This is the second time I have had to deal with this service, the last time was a year ago and I went elsewhere for advice as they didn't return my calls, I later found out when they called me 6 months later, no- one had checked their phone messages.
I was very disappointed and wished i had read the reviews before calling them, do not waste your time, they are clearly over worked and have no patience, lack of professionalism, rude and gave me incorrect information and when I tried to give them feedback received attitude, they seriously do not want to help and at one stage i was told that i would be getting a substantial amount of money from settlement, i am hoping that she is the judge in my case. I thought i could rely on a Women's Service but sadly i was wrong. Disappointed and would love to discuss this with the CEO

I had a great lawyer at the start, she got sick and another lawyer picked up her clients, myself being one of those clients, this lawyer was disrespectful, put words in my mouth and dismissed possible evidence, she did not listen and the communication was very poor, I was left in the dark and had know idea what was happening, not he kind of relationship you want with your lawyer, I all so had high suspicions that my case was compromised, dodgy work.
I feel even more vulnerable Then what I did before.if you don’t feel comfortable with your lawyer you do have a right to change lawyer’s and law firms, there are other public services out there.

I do not recommend to anyone. They didn't even try to help me. I felt completely disrespectful

Interviewed for a volunteer role here and found the staff very catty. They seemed to give off the impression that they assumed clients were mentally ill by default and was more concerned about how willing an applicant was willing to subscribe to their world view than their skills. Despite being told at the exercise that they would provide feedback on the application process, no feedback could be obtained and messages were unanswered. This was a major runaround as student, I could not imagine having to deal with these people as a client.
