Saturday 21 October 2023 - A BAD EXPERIENCE
I ordered a take-away king prawn omelette, expecting it to be as stated - prawns and omelette. When I opened it I thought they had mixed up my order with someone else as it was full of stir fried veg. No sign of prawns or omelette. It looked to have dark pieces of something in it which I could not identify in the dark where I was going to eat my meal. So, being allergic to some foods I didn't want to eat it.
Took it back and the lady walked out the back to get the manager. After having her private conversation with him they came back to the counter. They refused to refund me as I had 'taken it out of the shop', 'that's how they always make omelette', 'all of our regular customers are happy', 'no one else has ever complained'.
I pointed out that their menu states '& VEG' next to many items on the menu. So it should have said "& VEG" next to the omelette.
They said the dark pieces were mushrooms, but I told them I could not tell what they were and I certainly wasn't expecting anything other than prawns and omelette. As stated on the menu. When the container was sitting on the counter they picked around and showed me a prawn at the bottom and a very thin yellow omelette, but about 3/4 was stir fried veg.
They were unpleasant about the issue, refused to admit their mistakes, refused to issue a refund. They were ready to fight, not accepting that I was being reasonable. No people skills, poor hospitality skills and bad attitude.
I will never go back and could not possibly recommend this restaurant if this is how they deal with customer issues.

I've been eating here for years, but our last meal will be our last. We had 4 dishes, all were not very well made, and the flavours were not what we had come to expect for this restaurant.

Quick service and didn't have to wait long for takeaway.
Typical price for Chinese food.

Please dont go here. Food tasted alright but everything else was terrible especially the service. Was told every item we ordered was 2 $ more than stated if we dined in. Very small portions for the price, when asked for tap water was given only a glass full, my nearly 2 year old daughter was threatened by the lady not to make a mess otherwise she would be made to clean the dishes and we were asked afterwards if she understood what she was told. When we paid, we wanted the bill to be split between us but she declined the request as apparently the bank would charge her more and then she commented loudly for us as we left that the table was too messy. If you dont want people to dine in just say you only have take away. We are only customers and we do not know if you have had a bad day. We only wanted to end a wonderful day with a good meal with good service.

On the pricey side, but WOW you can't fault the dishes, the special fried rice is fluffy and fantastic.

What a lovely surprise to be greeted by the lady, welcoming and genuine.
Ordered entrees and main meal, food was fresh and generous.
Often come here for takeaway, dining in was a great experience.
Would highly recommend.

The service was great and the food was amazing especially the laksa from the very first sip of the juice all the way to the end, I was hooked all there meals were amazing

John would have to be the best oriental chef in Adelaide, always fresh, fast and well priced we love our chilly and he knows how to deliver. Catherine always gives a welcoming smile and a laugh with an abundance of hospitality, well done guys.

First meal came out luke warm and had celery which I specifically asked to not have. 2nd came out with capsicum which I had also asked to not have. Third serve was correct but lost my rice and not replaced. Was then charged full price for my meal plus surcharge!
I won't be back!

Fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Good service and very quickly prepared as well! Highly recommended for anyone in the western suburbs who wants a large selection of Asian.

Absolutely appalling service, not only did we wait for over an hour for our entrees to arrive with only 1 other customer in the restaurant, when we called to complain with our now takeaway meal the "owner" told me he cooked it all himself and there was nothing wrong with the food. I paid $160 dollars for 6 plates of vegetables with sauce, ridiculous. Will 100% never be back. I suggest anyone wanting "chinese" in semaphore to look elsewhere!

0 star. My meal was not what I thought it would be from reading the menu. I was highly disappointed and the service was not good. I have never left a bad review on any place till now. On top of having to pay for a meal I did not eat they wanted to charge me a 1$ service fee. I don't recommend this place.

It used to be amazing, but latley the quality of the food haa gone down.
Constantly mucking up the orders, and waited over 60 mins for our take away while people that order after as got there take away first and ordered more than us.
- entree beef sticks - pork main and a large fired rice.
Just feel a little disappointed it used to be our favourite!

Great food, value for money nice atmosphere although dated inside but don't let that put you off as you'll love the food and friendly staff.

Worse Chinese I have ever eaten. We had the $25 per head banquet $50 I wish I had never spent here

Chicken was dry, rice was hard and crispy. The sweet and sour sauce looked like the chef put a pink highlighter in it. The sauce was Fluro. We asked the chef what he or she uses and they won’t tell us. We told the nice waiter what our food was like and he went to the chef. Didn’t get an apology or a refund of any kind. I got food poisoning after. Worst Chinese food ever. Please don’t go there I beg you! I don’t want you to get food poisoning.

Amazing service! Very friendly staff. Good quality food and delicious dishes. Good to high spice, had the number 3 banquet and it was great! Deff reccomend!

Friendly staff. Meals are above average and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and has a nice casual atmosphere.

The hot & sour soup was too thick, looked more like thick sauce than soup. Ordered the pad Thai, there were some onions that was burnt and others cooked nicely not sure what's happening there.
