Wirrina Cove Holiday Park reviews
27Toilets and showers definitely deserve an upgrade. Reception is extremely warm. Quiet campsite.
Really nice place to stay. Penty ofm onsite cabin & caravan parks. Very accomadating management kept kitchen open lonng after advertised closing time as people were still coming in. Will go back to visit again
Nice location, but no activities to do apart from and oval and some old tennis courts.
Amenities are filthy and run down. One broken toilet was leaking sewerage into the other cubicles the whole time we where there and no one bothered to shut it as out of order.
No attractions within walking distance or surrounding the camp.
Good that you can have campfires, but that’s about the only positive.
Definitely not worth the money, given what other proper caravan parks have to offer for a similar rate.
This place is probably the equivalent of a $30 per carload per night kind of camping.
Some serious investment needed to be charging the rates they do.
Owners where friendly, staff where not.
It’s rare to find a camp spot this good. It’s hidden away off the main road in a valley setting with every kind of camp area you can ask for. Powered sites, lush grass areas which are mowed to perfection and large shaded tree areas with a creek meandering though it.
Huge toilet and shower blocks and all the other amenities you need. It’s got what seems like a full sized oval which is very well kept so plenty of space for the kids to go nuts, and on top of that heaps of friendly animals like horses and goats to visit!
It’s only a short drive to an number of towns and beaches like blowhole beach or rapid bay and best of all theres a golf course less than a minute down the road!
We’ve camped at Wirrina a few times now and this is one of the few camping spots I genuinely look forward to returning too!
The place has great potential, but unfortunately the bathroom facilities are not pleasant and staff have said the bathrooms will undergo renovations, but I have been camping here 5 years in a row and the same renovation signs are still up, and the bathrooms have only gotten worse.
Beautiful location, staff, clean facilities, great chippies and coffee. Holly is amazing to have a chat with as well.:) keep it up guys! Be back as soon as possible!
Wow! Do they have a cleaner or a handyman. Great spot. Accommodation leaves a mega lot to be desired
Beautiful park, lots of wildlife, great spot. Such a waste the place is run down and out dated. The facilities are horrible, the place isnt maintained or kept clean. I stayed in a cabin, the shower was terrible, split wall, wind and mosquitoes coming through all night, very dusty, black mould on wall, cobwebs and spiders in room. No step at the door, my pregnant fiance almost stacked it three times.
Incredible hosts, absolutely stunning surrounds. Very peaceful and relaxing spot, highly recommend
Great camping close to fishing
Just needs facility upgrade for those who don't have a shower and toilet
Always a pleasure, so beautiful and natural and above all, peaceful. Holly and Ben are the amazing owners and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for always making it a most memorable stay
Went to book in no-one there person said they were out back on couple of hours
No-one else could help us said come back in couple of hours
Obviously they don't leave anyone a park for assistance with booking in not even any prices etc
There 1ish Thursday 22nd April 2021
Clean but dated facilities. Too many people packed in, limited to no supplies at reception. Had to leave early. Will never go back again.
Very Authentic and raw place to connect to the nature, kangaroo, hiking and bike tracks, kids all love it.
Have just gotten home from our one night getaway stay, just me and my partner. Can say we are definitely going to be staying there again, just the two of us and also a trip with the kids. Fantastic arrangement for all needs whether it's a solo trip or a family holiday.
We enjoyed the local wildlife that came right up next to our tent.
Very relaxing and peaceful (except for a few drunken and noisy neighbouring campers at 2: 30am)
Bit loud at times as lots of other people but plenty of room and shade. Can have fires that is a bonus. Close to second valley and rapid bay.
Beautiful location with lots of trees and grassed areas. The owners are really nice. Pet friendly, our Kelpie loved it!
The amenities are in need of upgrade, but they are in the process of fixing that. Definitely worth a visit.
We have just gotten back from our one night stay, and have to say we are definitely going to be staying there again. Fantastic arrangement for all needs whether it's a solo trip or a family holiday. Included in the price is a friendly kangaroo or two, which we pleasantly woke up to just meters from the tent.
This is a great place to just kick back and unwind for a few days. This is our 4th visit and definitely not our last. They have a range of sites to choose from and we've stayed in most. Across the creek is a bit more 'bush' camping but still with power. Powered sites near the amenities are very generous in size, well shaded and grassy, making relaxing easy. If you don't need power there is literally acres of space to choose from. The highlight is being able to feed the animals, especially the horses. The owners, Ben and Holly, go out of their way to make us feel welcome. We've also found the park always well kept and tidy.
Big open grass areas not boxed in lots, and no bark chips! We love this park, great walks, close to lots of fun for the kids. Ben and Holly are just lovely and making the park fit for everyone. Highly recommend although we want to keep it a secret lol
