Windamere Park reviews
7Great establishment in a lovely setting. Welcoming staff. Improved access for people with mobility aids would be appreciated (smoother paths etc)
It’s a bit disappointing reading some of the great reviews and not being able to relate. We never know what is happening during the day whilst our son is in attendance, seesaw never gets updated for us.the only time we hear anything about our son is when there’s been an incident which is disappointing because we want to hear all the good things he’s been doing. If there’s so many activities and wonderful things to be done at Windermere then can they please be done with our son and can we please have regular seesaw updates. He’s there 3 days a week, we should be able to get a seesaw from every day he’s there.
This place is amazing, being a farm there is plenty of open space and fresh air. With staff that go above and beyond to make sure the participants needs are met. Thank you so much for offering a safe and fun environment for people living with disabilities.
This is certainly not a place I would recommend for people with severe intellectual disabilities. In my experience this organisation certainly does not sport the high quality expertise and staffing they advertise on their website. In my exper ience they avoid accountability and are not transparent. They have not delivered what they agreed to over a year's transition visits and have been a complete waste of time for me and my child's progression into an options programme.
Working at Windamere for almost 4 years now has been incredible. Supporting so many wonderful people, assisting participants to achieve their goals and watching them enjoy the unique farm settings. Such a beautiful open place. With amazing staff and participants.
Wonderful place to work, excellent co workers, management and opportunities to learn and grow. Have weather challenges sometimes however, lots n lots of activities for people with disabilities and great facilities provided so I love to work at Windamere.
